"The hotel is a mixed bag. The main building is grand and impressive, but mostly used for events and the bar. The rest of the hotel is tired in places. Our room was supposed to have air conditioning, but the "air conditioning unit" was only a fan with no capability to cool the air. Upon broaching the subject with reception staff I was asked to "just open a window" which was not the answer I was looking for. I requested a desk fan which they told me they'd look into providing. But never received...

"Nice clean room, comfortable bed. Great proximity to Harry Potter Studios and walking distance to a yummy pub. Off-street parking. Note shared bathroom. We had noisy neighbors at 2 am but not the fault of the B and B."

"The room was clean and had enough space for the 3 of us. We were only staying two days.The bathroom was very small and when sleeping on the king size bed half of the king size bed you could feel the springs. The staff asked us if we wanted to change rooms, but we had gotten settled in and I didn't want to move anywhere. There was a 2nd single bed in the room so I just used that one. Coffee and tea in the room was greatly appreciated."

"We only had a quick overnight stay for the hospital the next day. The place looked amazing — it was smart and tidy. The staff were extremely friendly, no messing about. The room was perfect for what we needed. The only complaint was that there were no plugs by the bedside table. But overall, we were really happy with our stay and would recommend it"

"To get to the room at the far end we had to walk through winding corridors and doors, almost like a labyrinth. The room was small but cozy. Comfortable bed. Had a kettle for tea and coffee. It was not possible to connect the TV to WiFi, although the caretaker came and changed a cord. The bathroom had a working shower, sink and toilet with hot water. Water ran away slowly in the bathtub, which could indicate an incipient blockage. A glass pane by the bathtub served as a shower cover. There was no...
