"Staff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning."

"Beautiful property, staff helpful and attentive from check in to check out. All staff said hello when passing and asked if we needed help. Pool clean and comfortable. Lovely steam/sauna available. "Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after. The room was beautifully appointed, with everything we could need, and the bed was especially comfortable. "Comfortable and stylish hotel in an excellent location near the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Breakfast was very good although it took time to find a member of staff to take our order when we arrived at 7.30am. "

"Im gutted i only dtayed one night. Loved my room. Only negative was my room was on the top gloor and i have a disability. My own fault as I didnt mention when booking. Breakfast was simply amazing, traditional full English served perfectly."

"Very nice hotel to stay in Tunbridge Wells. Close enough to the centre so that you don't need your car. The hotel and our room were very clean. There is a public car park very close to the hotel so it's easy to park even though you can't really do do at the hotel. "
