"One word - avoid. What ypu see in the description and in reviews is NOT what you get. The room was facing the main road and the constant, non-stop noise was unbearable. The breakfast was horrible. £12.50 extra for 1x burnt bacon, uncooked hash brown and a pathetic looking uncooked sausage. Plus a fried egg complete with a hair. The 'chef' needs sone training on how to actually cook food properly. Poor quality, cheap orange juice and bread that hadnt been fresh for a few days. The staff were...

"Very nice small hotel. No lift but my. Bag was carried upstairs quiet. Off road parking and a garden."

"Our experience can be stupidly as hot and noise. We stayed 2 nights in Room #1 which was facing the main room in mid summer. They offered a fan in the room which was totally useless, you properly can generate more air by fanning yourself than the fan. The room was so noisy at night even you closed all the windows. Just imagine you sleep in a room with all the windows closed in a hot day and hearing cars zooming by through out the night."

"The property was really good. Clean, tidy and well presented. My only issue was that the radiators were not as warm despite being on the highest setting. The bedroom especially was very cold. Another negative is upto now I have not received my deposit back. Surely you should have a system that works for returning deposits back. People are so busy spmetimes one will forget to check that the deposit has been returned back"

"Schone kamer en goed geoutilleerd. En fijn dat er parkeerplek was. Minder was dat er geen huiskamer was oid. En zonder staff ging alles prima en reageerden zij adequaat toen wij access vroegen naar de gemeenschappelijke ruimte. ( wel benauwend als je bang bent voor brand want er waren geen fire escapes en de ramen konden niet ver open."

"Staff were lovely and very helpful. There was free parking on site, which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and plentiful including, eggs however you like them, ham and cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast and jam, croissants and pain au chocolate. Very nice. Lovely big breakfast room with a view over the garden."

"Manu was a great host, he was very welcoming and helpful and provided clear instructions to find the apartment, parking and how to get into the property. The property was exactly as advertised, in a great location and was spotless. Also, having tea and coffee at the property is only a small touch but has a great impact and shows Manu cares for guests. Great place and would 100% return. "

"The owner, Jason, was very helpful and spent time with us for an orientation and helpful directions and advice in getting to central Oxford for sightseeing. Nice snacks provided for breakfast."

"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."
