"We needed a place to stay on Lake Superior's north shore where some of us would use as a base and others would just stay behind to enjoy the beautiful scenery. This location worked perfectly for us. The space was large and worked nicely. We cooked most of our meals there and were able to get out to the places we wanted to visit. "

"If you're looking for a location that is close to all of the cute things in this area of the world, but still private and quiet, this is an ideal location. I traveled with my sister and we got to have lots of late night talking while also laughing at rorously where we disturbed no one. The sauna was a real treat."

"This condo was perfect for what we were looking for. A nice quick weekend getaway with a couple of views and experiences thrown in. It was especially nice to wake up to the sunrise overlooking the lake, as well as a nice relaxing fire in the fireplace to end our visit. The accommodations were perfect, and our hosts were incredibly responsive. Highly recommended"

"The place is very pretty, nice views. I feel the on line listing is misleading, you find out the room limitations after the first step of reservation. It lists a hot tub amenity, a jetted tub is not a hot tub. Receiving multiple texts almost every day of your stay is annoying. I don't want to fill out a survey about the cleanliness when I'm on my trip. The fire place vent blower is LOUD, didn't use the fireplace b/c its so noisy. Pipes rattle in the walls when you flush the master toilet. The...

"Very nice, clean, and bright vacation spot. Enjoyed the wooded secluded location. We made good use of the kitchen. Great location, close to XC ski spots and Grand Marais. We were snowed in (couldn't get back up the driveway) for a bit due to the heavy snow."

"We loved staying at this cozy lakefront home away from home. The area is an outdoor paradise. We hiked to some spectacular places. Loved searching the shoreline for interesting stones. The hosts were very responsive. Bring bug spray if you go in June. "

"Very clean and well kept. If you come with babies, consider bringing a gate for the stairway. Bathroom is downstairs, living area is upstairs. Owner was helpful and obviously loves this little house. Would definitely recommend bringing bugspray if you plan on being outside later in day. Will stay here next time we come. "

"Great spot for a homebase to hike the area. Short walk to coffee, restaurants and shops. Cutely decorated and everything you need! Host was responsive and easy. Recommend!"

"The cabin or lodge exceeded our expectations. Beautiful vistas overlooking the lake. Comfortable and peaceful living and sleeping areas. Fully equipped kitchen with anything you could need. We loved our stay here!"
