"Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"The property was beautiful, with everything we needed. And the pool was amazing! We all enjoyed swimming and chilling in the hot tub. We were able to walk straight up Thorpe cloud and into Dove dale, and look forward to being able to visit again to explore further. Many thanks to hosts, Ray and Julie, who were friendly and helpful. "

"The accomodation was not as advertised. It was so bad we had to book alternative accomodation elsewhere. So far we have no way of seeking a refund, so we do not recommend Hotels.com to anyone ever! "

"We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. "

"really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! "Beautiful cottage nestled away from the main town but still centre is a couple of mins away . Lovely and quiet . Well equipped even to a much needed plaster when I cut my finger . Plenty of storage in the bedroom and a comfy bed . Bathroom is small but room to store your toiletries ."
