"Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit."

"My wife and I spent a lovely weekend at Cardinal Cabin along with our dog, who lived his best life running and sniffing through the adjacent forest. The property was clean and cozy. We especially enjoyed the firepit and hot tub!"

"The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning...

"It was a great stay, lovely property with gorgeous views of the surrounding fields, amazing sunset views from the front porch, and not a neighbor in sight. The hot tub and fire ring were welcome features to end our days with. Proximity to main roads, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah was a huge plus. Rating 5 stars because everything was exactly as advertised and the property was very clean with updated fixtures.
