"6 teaching colleagues having a quiet gathering at the beach to celebrate our junior member turning 50!! The house was perfect for us. The large dining table, well equiped kitchen, and bedrooms with bathrooms and separate beds, were the perfect accommodations. Access to the beach was easy. The views from the house are lovely. Birthday dinner at Kyllos----perfect!!!"

"Great views, convenient location, house could use updates and a good deep clean but it was great for our purposes as a comfortable home base to go explore the coast. "

"Shorty's is a lovely spot (better than in the pictures!) in a great location (right above the beach!) and walking distance from Pacific City. The home was clean, charming, comfortable and had everything we needed – we will definitely be back."

"This home has incredible views of the ocean and the haystack rock. We spent hours sitting on the decks, enjoying the views and the sounds of crashing waves. The upstairs bedroom has its own balcony. The kitchen has a deck on the backside looking out to the Nestucca River. The home is light and cheerful. It has many level changes and stairs, so take that into consideration if you are traveling with people who are not able to climb stairs. "

"Nice place, quaint... awesome view! No cell service and NO land line available! Getting into property was extremely difficult, code didn't work and had to drive ten miles to get service/help. Once fixed...rest of stay was wonderful!"

"An adorable coastal cottage with the right amount of room for our family of four. The view and short walk to the amazing beach and cute cafes was a bonus. The kitchen was workable for cooking in but the supplies/utensils were hit or miss. The exterior certainly shows some deferred maintenance but that did not detract from a lovely beach trip."

"Everything went well for my wife's birthday weekend the place was just as advertised and we had a wonderful time in Oceanside even the weather cooperated and only delt with rain on Sunday afternoon. All in all a great weekend "

"This house was just right. It had all of the amenities we needed to make our stay comfy, and it is right on the beach. The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family to sleep and hang out watching a movie and playing games. I would stay here again. "
