"We really enjoyed our visit here. It was clear that the hosts had put in a lot of work to make this place fully ready and amenable for their guests. They provided a lot of firewood and already had a fire built in a nice stone fire pit for us. The cabin had a beautiful porch which is covered that allowed us to sit outside with our coffee (there was a coffee maker!) even on a rainy morning. There are also plenty of outlets if you need to charge any devices, but the location runs on solar power, so...

"Everything was great about the stay. Even though it was October the kids got to use the pool for two days. The hot tub was also enjoyed. Loved the fireplace. Everything was a distance but we knew that was the case. We enjoyed Fort Ticonderoga and going into VT to Rutland and Woodstock. We did the rail ride in Thurman and enjoyed timenin Lake George Village. We were there for Oktoberfest. We also enjoyed the outlets as the last stop before we left the area. It is definitely a place for relaxation...

"We absolutely loved our stay in the cabins! They were warm and cozy, making for an amazing experience. Being by the river was incredible - falling asleep to the sound of the water was pure bliss. We also had a blast swimming in the lake with the baby. The cabin itself was spotless and very welcoming. Overall, we'd give it a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to come back!"

We had an amazing stay, the cottage was very close to the town of Bolton landing and only a 15 min drive to the town of Lake George.
