"Really unique stay in a motel converted from an old high school. The room was clean, comfortable, and had some of the character of an old school room. Definitely a nice change from the usual hotel experience."

Years and years of loving curation provide pure eye candy for visitors while lending a true element of grandmacore nostalgia, exhibiting decades of a life well lived in every available space!! The host, Burnette, is a lovely lady and greets you with the warmth of a grandmother, happy to welcome you in with a cup of hot tea! Breakfast was a scrumptious homemade quiche and cherries jubilee! We look forward to returning!! "

"The room was unlocked when we arrived and there was someone’s sock on the floor. The walls are also very thin, we heard the couple sleeping next door coughing all night. The bathroom was also not cleaned."

"Stay here for our visit at MSU. The location was perfect for getting to MSU and sort of in the middle of town. We were able to explore Starkville easily and the staff was very helpful with advice and suggestions! Very clean and plenty of parking, couldn’t ask for more!"

"This might have been the rattiest La Quinta I have ever stayed in. I've been a big fan of this hotel chain for the last 20 plus years but this one was about as bad as I've ever seen it. To start on a positive note, the staff was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast is good. But, the exterior of the building facade is missing pieces and has some kind of oxidation or calcium deposits running down the face of the building.
