"The minute we arrived we were greeted by lovely staff and elephants at the pool. What followed was a once in a lifetime experience. The positives - Beds are super comfy with electric blankets for those cold nights and a fan for the warm days. The food was AMAZING. I LOVED being seated with fellow safari mates and getting to know people from across the world even though we are total introverts. Our guide Leighton was brilliant, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. And the wildlife…. Wow. ...

"The place is lovely and me and my lady enjoyed it. The only issue I had was the bed, it was not that comfortable, same goes to the pillows, they where big. Oh and board needs some attention because when you walk inside the tent your partner got to wake up because they squicky. But nevertheless I enjoyed it, even proposed and she said yes"

"The highlights of our stay here were the incredibly friendly staff and the generous food options. The service was akin to 5 star hotels - attentive, thoughtful and friendly. "This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "

"Fantastische locatie, prachtig uitzicht. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw en gastheer. Op de tenten zit een beetje sleet maar dat neem je er graag bij en uiteindelijk is alles perfect in orde. Je krijgt er zo veel voor in de plaats. De bedden zijn geweldig. Het eten is ruim voldoende, zelfs beetje te veel. Heel lekker klaargemaakt allemaal. De game drives waren biven onze verwachting. De gids deed er alles aan om ons een perfecte belevibg te geven"

"This was our 5th visit to Elephant Plains. It's the most affordable option in the Sabi Sands and an excellent place to stay. Since our 2022 visit, they have updated the rondovels. "The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nixon the lodge manager assisted us in taking our luggage to the room. All of the lodges are connected by a wooden walkway in the bush. The rooms were very nice and recently renovated. There is a great viewing deck where you can view the wild life. We saw 6 giraffes and several impalas the morning we were checking out which was exciting!! I would definitely recommend the Panzi Lodge to others! "
