Nestled under a canopy of trees, between ancient rocks, the Sequoia Dome sits on an elevated deck with breathtaking vistas. The Dome features a large panoramic window, providing stunning views of the majestic mountains and the ever-changing sky.
Situated on a 3-acre private property in the center of Three Rivers, California, the Dome offers an ideal location. Three Rivers is home to a variety of restaurants, bars, a brewery and shops. Enjoy river rafting in late spring, and fishing, boating and water sports on nearby Kaweah Lake. Only 4 miles from the entrance to the Sequoia National Park, home of the giant sequoias and the largest tree on earth, the Dome is the ideal camp for your hike, nature walk, picnic or drive through the park.
This unique experience is the ultimate in luxury glamping. Features include one queen size bed with comfy bedding, a bathroom, a kitchenette with a microwave, small fridge and coffee maker. Wi-Fi and a Smart TV are also included. Heat and air conditioning are provided, and in the winter light the wood-burning stove to keep you warm and cozy. Unwind after a day of hiking on the spacious deck, furnished with a patio dining set. This romantic setting is the perfect getaway.
Built with a reinforced steel frame and an insulated layer, the Dome is engineered to be sturdy and durable, as well as ecologically sustainable. For your safety, a smoke and carbon monoxide detector and a fire sprinkler system have been installed.

The dome was perfect! We absolutely loved it. The hosts thought of everything, it was beautifully decorated, and the view was amazing! Our perfect day included walking to breakfast at Sequoia Coffee and Kitchen, hiking Moro Rock Trail & Topokah Falls Trail in SNP, grabbing dinner by the river at Gateway Restaurant and relaxing on the deck. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sequoia National Park!

Perfect does exist

The dome and host, Joyce, exceeded ALL our expectations for an Airbnb. I will forever be disappointed by lodges and hotels after being spoiled by this property. After long days of hiking in Sequoia National Park, we returned to the dome and enjoyed all the the amenities that one might find in a posh hotel: comfortable seating, showers with great water pressure, tea and coffee, a private deck to watch the sunset against the hillside, and extraordinarily comfortable bed. Joyce has made this property easy to relax in as it is pristine, both inside and out. The right amount of labels and instructions are provided to make the stay care-free. Staying in the dome was the highlight of our Sequoia hiking adventure.

First off, I just want to say Joyce is an amazing host. We arrived for our 20th Anniversary and there was a bottle of wine waiting for us and a personal note from her. This place is fabulous. All the little details that were in this place showed how much care and attention they put in this place. The views at night with the sun setting behind the mountains were breathtaking and being in a somewhat remote location allowed for some amazing stargazing at night. We loved our stay at the Dome and hope everyone who decides to stay there do so also!

Blissful Break

The property is exactly as depicted in the pictures! Inside is spacious and lovely and the view really relaxes you and refocuses your mind. All the amenities were is good working order! Waking up each morning to the view and the birds was lovely. Our host was very helpful and responsive and thought of just about every touch needed to make it a wonderful stay. 10 out of 10. We will be back!

Amazing Stay

We stayed two nights at the dome when visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia. It was an amazing experience... so unique! Private, great spot for star gazing and what a view to wake up to. Everything was perfect. We definitely plan on returning.

Magical Dome

Absolutely stunned at how beautiful this stay was for us! I am usually very anxious about staying at places due to cleanliness not being up to par especially bedding but this place was SPOTLESS. It’s one of the few places I felt comfortable enough to sleep deeply. My one tip for other city folks like me who forget how loud cute critters can be, bring some ear plugs to sleep.The bed was extremely comfortable and the selection of pillow case firmness/softness was very appreciated by my finicky neck lol. The decorations were so magical and spiritual. We really enjoyed our stay here and even got engaged while cozying in bed looking at the rain. Joyce is an extremely gracious host who thought of every little thing and even had a binder with all the things to do around town (we particularly appreciated all the tips on getting passes for sequoia national state park). The patio area view was breath taking. Even the rocks along the property are filled with colorful moss. One of a kind location!

Amazing experience

The stay was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect romantic getaway. The dome has Ana amazing view that is very close to the national park. While the roads were frozen and not drivable the place was more than enough to enjoy our time in three rivers. I would happily stay again.

Phenomenal Retreat

The location is spectacular! The dome is beautifully furnished and Joyce has appointed the dome with wonderful amenities. The bed is very comfortable and the view from it is sublime. We will definitely be staying again.

Loved it!!

My spouse and I stayed at this property....husband was a bit skeptical about staying in a geodesic dome, but this awesome experience won him over. The dome was spotless, beautifully decorated to complement the natural surroundings. Everything we needed was provided...especially extra blankets and heaters because wife is always cold!! There was even a wood stove with long-burning log provided to accentuate the ambience. This was such a cool place....I hope we can return in the future. Location is great....just a few miles from Sequoia NP.

Gorgeous views!

Joyce was fantastic to work with. I booked it with short notice, and everything was perfect! We spent the day at sequoia, and what a great location to come back too. Waking up to those views is just spectacular. Would stay here again in a heartbeat if we make it back to the area.

This is such an awesome place!!! You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend. The pictures tell a lot, however when you get here its even better. Joyce the owner is a gem! She checks in to make sure all is well. You have to stay here.

Our stay at the dome was perfect! Beautiful views! Joyce had thought of everything…toiletries, slippers, yoga mats, coffee, etc. Comfortable bed and nice deck. Good location. Easy to get to Sequoia NP and small town of Three Rivers. We loved it!

Spectacular Three Rivers Escape.

The dome was one of our all-time favorite VRBOs. It is beautifully decorated and spacious for two people and all of our bags and hiking equipment. The view is absolutely spectacular! It feels like it is a private little island and, yet, it is conveniently located to restaurants in Three Rivers and the entrance to Sequoia National Park. We loved it!

Peaceful Retreat

My partner and I absolutely loved staying at this property - it was to date the best Vrbo we had and made our holiday that extra special. Very close to the Sequoia park and at the centre of Three Rivers. Yet giving you a peaceful, immersive place where to share special moments while looking out at the golden mountains or stargazing. Joyce made us feel at home and the check-in/out process were super smooth. Would definitely recommend (already have to all my friends interested in visiting the park!!)
