Contemporary house on Spring Creek—a spawning waterway.

3 BR, 2ba (plus 3rd toilet in basement), and spectacular architectural screenhouse (4th bedroom) at water's edge. Open floor plan, stone fireplace, gourmet kitchen and 4000 CDs for spontaneous entertaining. Tempur-Pedic king master BR with lots of storage for clothes and other supplies, large glass desk with leather chair, computer monitor, printer, office supplies. Second bedroom has queen bed, standing desk. Third bedroom has small desk and built-in shelving. Wi-fi throughout, Roku connected DTV. Large windows and glass doors overlook wildlife.

New fridge, oven, washer, dryer, custom blinds. Every amenity including: Slate pool table, jukebox with 100 carefully selected 45 RPM records in basement game room. Curated art collection from around the world. Cupboards with 125 board games for family fun.

Well water, rich in minerals. Very healthy for bathing. Safe to drink, but filtered water also available. House is professionally cleaned but located in the woods. Don't expect "hotel" clean everything.

Outdoor space: Three and a half Acres, Architectural screen house on attached deck. Outdoor grill and seating areas. Yards and gardens. Woods and field. Concrete tennis court and basketball hoop. Big view -- see where the glacier stopped. Long wooded driveway.

Annual Girls Trip

This property and home was absolutely perfect for our large group of friends on our yearly trip together. We usually camp, but this year we had some Bachelorettes amongst us so we decided to step it up. We were all so thrilled with the woodland calmness outside, the music collection of vinyls and cds was broad and impressive, loved the sound system, and we laughed all night long in the game room. The weekend was perfect, lifelong memories made, delicious meals cooked in the kitchen (impressive spice rack as well, corriander and cloves?! Awesome!) and we would all like to wish extreme gratitude to our hosts for providing such a unique and amazing experience. Thank you thank you thank you. We loved it. 10/10 recommend. Would be pet and kid friendly as well, even though we had neither. The jacuzzi was divine. I could go on and on. Rent this location before its nabbed up!

Nice beach getaway!!!

The property was just as it stated. Very easy check in and great communication before, during and after our trip, even fielding my MANY questions. We loved the pool table and the jukebox and even though we didn't use any, there are THOUSANDS of CDs and SEVERAL DOZEN board/card games for your amusement if needed. We never used the hot tub as it was too hot outside but it was located about 5 steps off of the front porch and with the woods and no visible neighbors, privacy would not have been an issue.There are only a few minor tweaks that would make this a dream for anyone. There could be some landscaping/trimming done a few times a year that would make it more pleasing to the eye and probably alleviate some bug issues (it is by the woods so we knew there would be critters and we were fine with it). Also, with it being on septic, there are times when the aroma would overtake the air and make it tough to be outside. The back extra room which is not connected to house needs a small hole repaired in the wall so it could be used as an extra bedroom at night. We did lose power 3 times in first 2 days/nights although twice it was less than a minute. The other time it was out from midnight to about 8am. It's mother nature, and I work in the utility field so I COMPLETELY understand but with a well, you cannot flush toilets if you use them as there is no backup generator. Overall, I would recommend this property to others even without upgrades. Great owners to deal with!!!

Weekend Getaway

After my dad passed suddenly, I needed a place to escape for a couple days and the creek house delivered... We already had plans to come out this way for the weekend but changed our location to stay here, the setting was perfect. We enjoyed endless jams from the extensive CD and record collection, sitting on the back deck bird watching, drinking coffee and trying to befriend the little chipmunk that kept lurking. This house provides an amazing environment to just decompress, thank you for allowing us to enjoy your space.

The oasis!

House is fabulous, reminds me of a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Had a ball combing thru all the albums and cassettes. Love the patio on the back, saw so much wildlife just sitting there, peaceful and quiet. My fave was the screened room detached from the house but it needs a little work to keep possible critters out but it it very cool and unique! I would stay again. Slight disadvantage is hot tub is not close to house. Close to a lot of beaches, really nice beaches.

We loved this cozy house in the woods!!

The house is big and has a great layout for a family. The kids loved choosing the bigger rooms and as parents we were fine with that because we enjoyed the room with the attached bathroom and privacy across the house! We appreciated the alarm system so we knew when kids were coming and going more easily. There is plenty of space everywhere for any kind of fun you want to have. The kitchen is large and easy to move around in or find what you need. We enjoyed the creek in the back, the fire place, the hot tub, the pool table, and ate pizza every night from the local shop, Patellies! Thank you to Bob and Anne for a wonderful stay 💜

Perfect Weekend

We loved our stay at the Creek House. Check in was easy and host was very communicative! It felt tucked away but was so close to everything we wanted to do! 10 minutes from Four winds casino and Just 15 minutes from New Buffalo. kids loved the basketball hoop, pool table, and tennis court. Adults enjoyed the CD collection and the hot tub. We had a fabulous breakfast 5 min up the road and oaks eatery and another great brunch close by at Journeyman Distillery. We are already planning our return

Lovely time by the stream!

This place is so lovely. The beds are comfotable and you feel very secluded. Anne is easy to communicate with and the place is VERY well stocked. Three Oaks is an easy bike ride away.

Our Experience

There were a number of mouse traps around. The Jukebox would only play one song and then not work at all. We enjoyed the tennis court and creek. The music selection was excellent in the main room and the sleeping arrangements were good. We did enjoy the pool table. We took lots of walks and went to the small community that was only a mile away. One day we did drive over to the Lake and went on the Tree Tops walk. We liked the area very much and it was a good time for the family.

What a wonderful home! This vacation home has it all! Played tennis, played music, enjoyed nature from the screened porch! Beds very comfy and all around great property. Nobody wanted to leave!

A lovely experience!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Creek House. We loved watching birds through the giant windows and sitting out on the deck, and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. It was quiet and felt remote but was super close to restaurants, beaches, etc. We hope to be back again!

Peaceful Creek House

This was our first time booking through Vrbo. I have to say the experience went fairly well. The Creek House delivered all that it promised. It was a very peaceful and beautiful house. The Host was very thoughtful in making sure the kitchen had all that is needed to prepare a lovely meal. Just bring your groceries and enjoy cooking in the lovely kitchen. The bedrooms had all that you needed, including extra linens and towels. The office in the master bedroom had supplies for those who may be doing some work while on your getaway. The main bathroom had a deep jetted tub that was very relaxing and a great feature in this house. The beautiful views throughout the house give this home such a lovely feel. My daughter enjoyed bird watching from the living room's windows. The outside space was a great bonus to the Creek House. We sat outside in the evening and listened to the water and evening creatures. When we decided to stay in for the day, our children enjoyed their basketball and tennis court. We also enjoyed from the host's collection of board games, card games and pool table. There was a lot of bonding time that was easily created in this home. One of the main reasons I picked this house was because it is pet friendly. Our two fur buddies were welcomed to enjoy this getaway with us. They loved the outdoors just as much as we did. ALL & ALL. The Creek House and The Host have earned 5 Stars! We hope to be back next year.

Peaceful Getaway spot

What a lovely spot to relax and recharge! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. Our favorite spot was on the back deck. We watched the creek babble by while the birds came and went from the feeders. There were three chipmunks who come and eat the birdseed fallout. Chippy 1, Chippy 2 and Roger are their names if you meet them :) We loved the remoteness of the location and the peaceful surroundings. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the kitchen having everything you may need to cook. The pizza place in Three Oaks was amazing too! Our dog Sophie probably had the best time out of us all. Lots to sniff, chipmunks to befriend and dragonflies to try to chomp :) We will definitely stay here again!

Our Spring Break Getaway

We were looking for someplace to relax and get away and have a change of scenery. This place was just that. It was peaceful and quiet and allowed us to bring our two dogs. We did not expect the birdwatching we were able to do. It was awesome to see the variety of birds that came to the feeders. The kids even had a chance to play some tennis and we even got to do some hiking at Warren Dunes. The property manager, Anne, was always very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Plenty of space

We loved the setbacks from the road but being less than 5 minutes from everything we wanted: restaurants, grocery store, etc. Beautifully decorated and plenty of things to do onsite. Very pet friendly and not crazy priced helps make families feel whole, warm, and welcome. We had a great Thanksgiving and cooked it all onsite while enjoying the views.

Cozy house, beautiful property

This was a perfect cozy spot with good vibes to get away for a weekend. The wall of music was a ton of fun to explore, we loved the artwork and decor throughout the house, and the the fall colors were amazing on the trees all around the property. Would love to come back again in a different season and use the outdoor sleeping area. 10/10!

Cottage in the Woods

We had a short girl’s weekend at this property. Easy to find, plenty of room and tons of seating around the home…inside and out! Beach day was ruined because of an all day rain, but the detached screened in porch was the perfect spot to chat, read, listen to music and enjoy being surrounded by a heavily wooded area, a babbling brook and the soothing pater of rain all around us. Would be lovely in the winter with snow too!

Relaxing !!!

This place is great! Clean, fun, relaxing, beautiful property! I want to go back!! Anything you need has been provided! Very nicely stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, towns close by! I can’t say enough about it!
