We had a lovely time in Three Mile Bay! All of the amenities and little touches made us feel comfortable and welcome. Great stay if you’re looking to do some day trips around the 1000 Island area, especially Cape Vincent and Clayton.

The property was very cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the one room had an excellent view of the water. The water was a little too shallow there for swimming or fishing off the shore, but there are lots of places close by to do those activities. My understanding is that the water level was down a bit from normal as well, but i'm not positive. We did enjoy borrowing the kayaks that were available for use. All in all we had an excellent stay, and Vivian was quick to respond when I messaged her with a question.

5th or 6th year staying @ Vivian's on the lake. She makes upgrades every year. 6 kayaks/canoes/paddleboards for guests use. Fire pit was used to its fullest. Many close beaches/restaurants/breakfast spots within a 10 minute ride. Easiest check in-out. The best spot to pick up fire wood is the entrance of Poilt Peninsula State park (a 3 min drive). I recommend this hidden gem to everyone i know. However i should cut back on that as her availability fills up fast. For good reason! Thank you Vivian. See you next year!

The property is perfect! The location is right on the water, secluded yet a short drive into the various villages. Vivian is a great host and was very welcoming. Both bedrooms have everything you need and the kitchen and bath sit centrally between them. It is well appointed and we loved the quiet stay!

Amazing VRBO

Absolutely amazing place, location, accommodations! Vivian and her grandchild are absolutely lovely hosts. Her dog Panda was so friendly and made us feel loved too! I met one of her cats…again friendly, and sweet! I’d stay again in a heartbeat!Vivian also got things ready for us so my daughter and I could see ay there a whole day and 4 hours sooner than our planned check in (we had camper trouble at our last location and had no utilities at all!)

Quaint

What a perfect little gem of a cottage. Beautiful view out the bedroom doors, quiet and peaceful. Cottage was clean, beds were comfy. Would stay there again. Only wish there was a couch or some place to sit when you don’t want to lay down… other than that. Just right!

Beautiful location!

What a beautiful, quiet spot for some R&R. Brought our soldier son here for a respite and went kayaking and paddleboarding. Firepit at night for some Smores. Owner was very hospitable and accomodating. Would definitely stay here again. Had perfect weather!

Private beach apartment on Lake Ontario

This was a beautiful get-away with a lovely private beach. The apartment was super clean with peaceful colors & art. Vivian made our stay very comfortable; gave us solid recommendations for local eats. She chatted with us (at our invitation), and we had plenty of privacy too. The Cottage Bakery near by was a treat. Highly recommend!

Quiet retreat on lake

Quiet property on Lake Ontario. Only sound we heard was the water lapping along the shore. Very peaceful, clean and looked like what we saw in photos online.

Every Year

This is our 4th or 5th year in a row staying @ Vivian's for our end of summer vaca. That should say enough! Everything is provided. Kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets beach towels & blanket, ect... Fire pit by the shore. A bit of fire wood provided. If you're looking for extra wood; there's a stand next to Long Point State Park on the peninsula. Filled my van for $20 there. Shangri La on the peninsula is open and has some great food/drink and only a 3 min drive. Close to Cape Vincent for breakfast/lunch/dinner & groceries. We will be back every year. Until she wants to sell it to me. Hah. Thank you Vivian.

Amazing Stay!

We had an amazing time at Vivian’s cottage! Our kids loved playing in the shallow water and yard, the cottage was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. We really enjoyed meeting Vivian- she was very friendly, accommodating and made our stay even better! Would love to stay here again!

A Little Slice of Heaven!!!

This is an amazing place to stay for a family of 4. The host takes an enormous amount of pride in her rental. She is easy going, very friendly, and accommodating. The host also provided kayak lessons as we never had kayaked before. The view is spectacular!!!! Its very clean and modern. We will definitely be staying here again!!!!!

Peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Beautiful place for much needed R&R. Wildlife, quiet beautiful bay water, kayaking and seashells, yes seashells! Vivian is wonderful! Very accommodating , friendly and informative. Loved it!

Quiet location! No sandy beach however.

Very clean apartment! The host was very responsive to two requests and very pleasant. The property's beach access is steps from the door. But, "One mile long, sandy beach, located on State land, next to property"; there isn't an accessible mile long beach next to the property. The state land is overgrown. The property's beach is crushed shells, not sandy; footwear is necessary. That being said, the place is very clean inside and nicely furnished.
