Ali's Home Stay: Cleanliness at Its Best

I recently stayed at Ali's home stay and had a wonderful experience. Ali, the host, was extremely friendly and accommodating, making sure that the place was spotless and well-maintained. The level of cleanliness was impressive, creating a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The house is new and beautiful and its been cleaned and maintained very well. its quite large with comfortable beds and furnitute. The hosts are also very responsive and accommodating. We had a great time there.

We found out that the owner of the property canceled our reservation the day we arrived for our vacation. We had to spend several hours trying to find another place to stay.

Nice house

Our stay was great, everything was great, communication, neighbors were very nice and welcoming, and everything was very clean and well maintained, a few more bed liners and hand towels would've completed it, but overall it was a great stay, my family loved it!!

Spacious house, comfortably furnished

House was as shown in the pictures and communication with the property owner was great. It is a good location, close to the highway, grocery stores and restaurants. Upstairs sleeping areas were comfortably furnished and lots of space. Internet service was great. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the home upon check in. The owner did let me know that they had recently changed cleaning companies, and it was evident that they were not properly cleaning the house. If this issue gets resolved, the property has great potential.

The property was dirty and has maintenance problems. Basic facility is ok but we booked for five days and they provided one dishwasher tab and no hand dishwashing soap. One bathroom sink was inoperable

It Worked

There were challenges with the digital lock system. Rectifying them was a challenge. The place wasn't as clean as we would have liked and there were still signs of the previous guest(s). Also...the main upper sink didn't drain properly. It worked for our needs and was really just a place to sleep so things were fine...not great, but fine.

Good place with some problems

Generally, the property was new and clean. However, the garage was smelly and the basement was unfinished. While we enjoyed our stay at the property, there were two problems we encountered. First, if you plan to cook meals at the property, I suggest you bring some kitchen stuff such as cooking knives, cutting boards, and dishwasher soaps. The second one was a significant problem. The property uses an electronic door keypad. When we arrived at the property, it took us some time to figure out how to use it, as this keypad was new to us. Yet, this was not a big deal. The more significant problem was that the keypad didn't work when we returned to the property at night. Just to clarify, it worked fine for the first two days but on the third day, it all of sudden didn't work. We tried multiple times with a passcode the owner of the property gave us but all failed. We tried to reach out to the owner but couldn't get his response until midnight because he was traveling. We ended up being outside the property from 8 pm to 12 am with five children. We eventually called Vrbo helpcenter for help. Yet, they couldn't do very much but ensured that we could get reimbursed for a one-night stay. We had to look for and book a hotel by ourselves. We finally could check in to a nearby hotel after 12 am. I don't know why the keypad didn't work that night. Unless the owner investigates the problem and understands why, I cannot recommend this property, as this problem may occur again.
