"Excellent large, attractive spaces— beautifully decorated ! Asked for a 2 bedroom and was given a 3 bedroom, well equipped bathrooms . The balcony had glass windbreaks which made the wind off Lake Michigan more bearable on the windy days. Would stay again, again, & again!"

"Very good communication, easy accessible great downtown area. They should have mentioned in the beginning that parking would be an issue, we did not find that should be the case. I would suggest that the owners put wash clothes in the bathroom to be used there were none in there."

"We were only here for one night (next time it will be longer!). It was just two of us so we had Cabin 5 which was perfect for us. Great location, very nice staff, and a wonderful property. "

We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two. "

"The property was very nice and right on Crystal Lake. Very comfortable and clean. Will definitely be back."

"Had an amazing stay.Great location with a grocery store at walking distance, minutes to downtown and accessible amenities. The place was spotlessly with a very well equipped kitchen. A clearly labelled dedicated parking spot was easy and convenient. Check-in was smooth. Will definitely recommend and come back! "

"Property was beautiful.. cabin was clean and well stocked. They left us a welcome note that was a very nice touch. "

"We stayed here for a long weekend with a large group. The bunk room in the basement fit a lot of people! The house was very comfortable and there was a ton of parking. The views were stunning, we just wish we would have had warmer weather to enjoy it"

"The room was very clean. Most things worked great and the room was well stocked. The light in the bathroom doesn’t work, so they just put up a few of those little stick on lights which was not enough after dark. The bed closest to the window has a big divot from over-use. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. "

"This is a unique residence that embodies the history of the Traverse City State Hospital albeit with the modern amenities you would expect. The pictures in the listing are an accurate portrayal of the historical look of the interior and the decor is very well done. Furniture was comfortable, but the bed was a bit small. "This is a nice home that is accurately described on the listing. The weather didnt cooperate during our stay so we were extra thankful for the pool table, ping pong, etc. My only suggestion to the owner is that they have some bedside lights or even a small lamp by the bedside to accomodate reading a book while in bed. Other than that, all was great. I would bet this house is pretty awesome in the summer!"
