"You most certainly receive value for your pound here! The rooms are immaculate and the rain showers in the washrooms are amazing!! This is our 3rd stay here!"

"Great place to stay. In a great location for walking holiday and visiting local attractions. Place was kept in excellent condition. Lovely views of the hills and to watch the sun go down on a night. Nice bottle of wine left by the hosts for your arrival. Left to you own devices by the owners unless you had a problem.
Would definitely stay again. "

"A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "

"The property was spotless and very homely. Everything you need was there and also lovely fresh flowers, milk and biscuits on arrival. There was even treats for the dogs. The staff were lovely that we had met also. You definitely need to take a torch as its very dark at night trying to walk the dogs."

"Ideally located for Hadrian's Wall walkers and next to Milecastle Inn, we enjoyed one night's stay here. Very comfortable and we would probably choose to stay here for several nights if walking the national trail again. "
