Uitstekend verblijf. Zeer complete woning. Erg vriendelijke en hulpvaardige host. Zeer snel reagerend op vragen. Mooie omgeving voor wandelen en fietsen.

Volledige vakantie-locatie; het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken, ruim, ales aanwezig en het was er lekker koel. Dus echt aanbevelenswaardig!

Big house but dissapointing

The house was as advertised, so what you see is what you get. Until we arrived the communication was fine and the owners were waiting for us. On arrival a quick tour of the house and garden and where the brochures were. All ok so far. Then we were told that there was no WiFi available, as there was a big problem in the area with the provider. A shame but that was not really a problem, even if you consider that you phone reception isn't good either. After being in the house a little we noticed that on both toilets were missing the flush buttons, we could still flush, but not very nice. The neighbours are restoring the house, which means working on the Saturday and then having 20 people drinking and shouting through the night. I did not take that into account in my review of the house, as this is not the vault of the owners and luckily was only the Saturday. But I feel I have to mention it. The area is beautiful and you need to drive a bit to be able to see all the sites, but we did not mind. My main complaint though, was the communication. I have to admit we were ill prepared for our activities. There were a million brochures, which we thought were great, but most were outdated. It just felt as they were not really bothered with keeping this up to date anymore. Finally when we were leaving, we tried to get in touch several times on how to proceed, with the inspection/payment of the cleaning etc. To my surprise we have never received any message and we left with putting money on the table and the key in the inside of the door. The next day we got a wopping big bill for electricity and heating (in the summer). I find this a little disgusting. All in all, I would not come back. The owners do not seems very involved anymore and don't really care about you. The house was big, but needs some love. Shame

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr sauber und gemütlich. Man fühlt sich direkt zuhause. Es gibt alles was man benötigt. Perfekt geeignet für Familien mit mehreren Kindern oder auch zwei kleine Familien. Im Ort Thillot gibt es leider keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten so dass man mit dem Auto einkaufen fahren muss. Die Umgebung bietet viel zu sehen, vor allem die historischen Stätten um Verdun und das wunderschöne Metz.

Séjour parfait

Le logement est très bien équipé et très bien situé. Il est resté frais malgré les températures estivales extérieures. Propriétaire de bon conseil pour les visites à faire avec les enfants (Eparges, Madine, Verdun..). Je recommande à 100 %.

Lovely house in a lovely area.

The gite was very well equipped and comfortable. Probably one of the best we have stayed in over many years. The surrounding countryside is variable, with flat plains , hills and lakes. If you are interested in Ww1 the preserved trenches in the area are the best I have seen. Verdun and Nancy, which are a short drive away, are both historical and picturesque.

Location extrêmement agréable, très propre. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et de très bons conseils pour les visites. Je recommanderai cette location.

Thillot

Een mooi pittoresk Frans dorpje in een prachtige omgeving. Als uitvalbasis om Verdun en Saint Mihiel te bezoeken ideaal. Ook in de nabije omgeving zijn er bijvoorbeeld wandelmogelijkheden

Brilliant Gite

A really nice gite that was extremely clean and well maintained. It also had everything that is required and much much more. Brilliant for kids and even had a high chair, buggy and travel cot. Garden was very well maintained and really quite quiet. BBQ at the property. Really nice stay and we have booked again for 2021!

Logement qui a grandement participé à rendre notre séjour très agréable

Nous étions 2 adultes et trois jeunes enfants. Cette maison est très bien équipée et très spacieuse, que ce soit la pièce à vivre, les 3 chambres, sans oublier la grande salle de bains, ce qui était parfait pour notre famille. Avec le beau temps, le jardin et sa terrasse nous ont offert de bons petits déjeuners et repas. L'ensemble est au calme, joliment décoré, en très bon état et très propre. Pour finir, très bon accueil et disponibilité de Chantal et Jean-François. Nous conseillons à tous ce logement.

Gîte Parfait

Nous avons passé un bon séjour en famille dans votre gîte. Ce dernier est très confortable et très bien équipé. De plus, nous l' avons vraiment trouvé très propre. Les propriétaires sont des personnes très gentilles et très discrètes. Le gîte est placé à environ 30mn de Verdun ce qui nous a permis de visiter les sites historiques Je recommande vivement C.Thelisson

Séjour agréable

Le gite est très bien tenu avec un équipement très complet. Avec la température de ce début de saison, nous n'avons pas pu apprécié la terrasse qui est bien orientée. Le village permet de bonnes ballades au milieu des bois et des vergers, de plus nous ne sommes pas loin des sites de mémoire de Verdun. A recommander aux amis.

Beautiful, rural, country location.

Beautiful, rural, country location. Immaculate. Large bedrooms. Modern kitchen. The owners spoke French and we spoke only English but we both had translation apps so were able to communicate. The owners were super kind and sweet. Our stay in this part of France was amazing. My husband was thrilled to visit his boyhood home in the small village of Belleau.

Sehr charmantes Ferienhaus mit allem nötigen Komfort

Wir haben eine Woche Ferien mit drei Kindern zwischen 2 und 7 hier verbracht und trotz einigen Regen jeden einzelnen genossen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die geschichtsträchtige Umgebung zu erkunden.
