Nestled within 32 acres of tranquil countryside in the charming village of Thompson, the lodge is surrounded by scenic walking trails, including the Peddars Way and Pingo Trail, and the peaceful Thompson Water (1 mile). Thetford Forest is 10 miles distant for further exploration surrounded by nature.


On-site, guests may also choose to experience the on-site Wilderness Spa, featuring a natural swimming pond, hot tub, sauna and treatments (available at an additional cost and to be arranged in advance), or enjoy freshly prepared meals from the delightful on-site bistro. This impressive lodge site boasts plenty of wonderful facilities to ensure an indulgent stay.


Inside the lodge, the open-plan cabin is designed for relaxation and convenience. The cosy lounge area features a wood burner, TV with DVD player, and soft blankets, while the fully equipped kitchen and dining area provide everything needed for a self-catering stay. The bathroom includes a wonderful steam shower, flushing toilet and heated towel rail. At the rear of the lodge, the connected pod offers a super-king-size bed (or twin beds upon request) with blackout blinds, bedding, and ample storage, ensuring a restful night’s sleep.


Step outside to the fully enclosed secret spa garden, a private oasis with a wood-fired hot tub, infrared sauna, and seating area. Fairy lights create a magical ambiance as the evening sets in, perfect for stargazing while soaking in the hot tub. The front garden, enclosed by a picket fence, features artificial grass, garden furniture, and a gas fire pit with a BBQ grill, ideal for al fresco dining.
