"I didn’t like that we couldn’t use the beach because the seaweed was not removed to make beach accesible. Also our room floor was dirty, appears that it has not been cleaned with water for a long time; when walking barefoot in room our feet became very very dirty with floor dirt. Room floor should be cleaned with water to remove dirt. Resort is very nice, employees are great, kind and very friendly. I hope my above recommendation is taken into consideration and resolved. "Drop Anchor has been around forever and the floors and couch must be original. I can say I have never sat on a more uncomfortable couch and the pull out bed was utterly useless as it felt like it was a prison camp mattress. That being said, the staff was so exceptional and the room was clean, cool, and uniquely they can sleep more than 4 people. If they would just burn or throw away the couch that has been overused since what seems like the late 1970's this would have been a 5 star stay. ...

"I arrived to find that my room was overbooked and already taken . I was offered two other rooms that were not acceptable. One without a sofa and one with no view. After traveling to the keys from Ft. Lauderdale it was most disappointing. They offered a refund and it took me three hours to find somewhere else to stay. Will not come back"

"Our biggest complaint was that there were only six lounge chairs and three umbrellas by the Pool area which overlooked the ocean. Obviously, we had to wait for someone to leave. The Pool deck area was the resorts most attractive amenity and it was not adequately equipped. Unfortunately, we would not recommend or return to this resort."

"Super clean. Being able to use the paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes was great. We had a fairly well stocked kitchen. The frozen drinks at the pool bar were also nice to have."
