The manager was very friendly and helpful. The views are great, and the condo has a lot of nice outdoor spaces.Our only complaint was the bad was hard and uncomfortable.

Everything you’d hope for here; lovely views with ocean breezes to match, fully equipped kitchen for those evening meals on the deck or morning coffee to watch the sunrise from the rooftop, saltwater pool and nearby beach area for a quick dip.It was our 4th time staying at this same unit. Communication via email has been excellent and when the property manager is in (afternoons) she has always been helpful and gracious. Such good people here.

A room with a view!!

The apartment is homey and spacious! Absolutely everything you need! The view is awesome! Beautiful pool!! Excellent communication with Alcide and Miss Angie! Easy checking in!Google maps not good for getting there. There are a number of stairs up. Road in is a little rough!’ But easy to get around to all the fantastic beaches!

First time renting at Sandy Hill Club

This was our fifth trip to Anguilla and the third place we’ve rented. It was well suited to our purposes and we will plan to stay here again. Good location and easy to get to anyplace on the island, though it’s closer to the more authentic east end that we prefer.

Peaceful stay

Stayed a week in January. Apartment was perfect. My host Alcide was super helpful and communicated with me several time to make sure inwas comfortable. Love the soundnof the ocean at bedtime, best sleep ever. The rooftop was perfect for breakfast in the mornings and watching the sunrise

Nice place but not a beach

I was looking for somewhere on a beach and the photos seemed to indicate that it was on a beach, but you had to walk 200m over very rough rock to get to a very small sandy spot. It wasn't want I wanted. Also you ABSOLUTELY need to rent a car to stay here because there is nowhere to walk to for restaurants or groceries. That said, it was very quiet and not very touristy, which is nice. The place was clean and well appointed, but the beds were VERY hard and the pillows have seen better days. It had a really nice functional balcony which we used alot and a top roof-deck, which was nice, but very hot up there. Some more comfortable chairs up there would be nice. The property manager and maintenance person was very responsive to inquiries.

Would stay again, but a few recommendations

This property was nice. Good location, easy to get to and from all areas. Had everything we needed. Plenty of room for 4 people. Nice views. Owners and property manager easy to communicate with. No issues. Here are a few recommendations that would have made this a 5 star: update the mattresses. They were so hard. The younger 2 were fine, but the mid-age women were hurting after sleeping in the beds. Be upfront (mention it at booking) about request to keep ac off when not at the condo. We were there in August, so leaving the ac off during the day, returning back in evening the condo was HOT! There is a breeze, but still hot. Us Texas girls don't like a hot house. Take the dryer off the amenities list. It's not a dryer. It's a clothesline dryer. The people are super nice. The condo was nicely equipped. Again, would have received 5 stars if not for the few things mentioned. Had a lovely time, but the bed made it difficult to relax and get a good night sleep.

My Wife and I have stayed here before. Very comfortable and easy to get to. Angie, the property manager was very nice and helpful. A very minor miscommunication on my part regarding air conditioning, but it was no inconvenience at all. A pleasant stay, and we would stay again!

Excellent Location

Our stay was perfect. Able to walk to a small beach nearby that was beautiful. We were close enough to the water to hear the surf at night. We had rented a car, and drove to many different beaches depending on the conditions. We hope to visit again soon.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

This was our 5th trip to Anguilla but our 1st time back for almost 5 years, the island did not disappoint! We had a lovely stay at the condo in Sandy Hill...the balcony and the rooftop deck were fantastic. The complex is very secluded and quiet but still within a reasonable/short drive to many of the best beaches and restaurants on the island. Would definitely return to Sandy Hill!

Clean, quiet property with great view from rooftop patio and side porches. Plenty of space for the two of us. Excellent ocean breeze – never needed AC. Had all the furnishings, towels, linens, dishes, etc we needed. Good wireless internet connection – no problem working remotely. Within easy walking distance of small, usually deserted, beach. Near groceries, gas, liquor, etc. Helpful onsite property management and maintenance. Nice pool. Many roads on Anguilla are rough, including the one to this property, so get a rental car with some clearance or 4WD. All the main beaches, restaurants, activities, etc are a short drive away. Grounds are well maintained. This is an upper story property with lots of stairs – no problem as long as you are in good health. Good communications with friendly owner. Everything went smoothly. Would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

Had a wonderful stay at the property. The unit is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a ton of outdoor space - a large balcony for dining/lounging as well as a large roof area that was perfect for exercise. I quarantined at the property for the required period and then stayed thereafter. I was working from "home" and the wifi and other day-to-day amenities were just as strong as if I was in the office in a large North American city. During the quarantine period, communication with the host was seamless and she arranged for an initial grocery delivery and some other logistics. After the quarantine period, she assisted with a car rental and the condos are a great place for exploring the island. There is a beach just a 5 minute walk away, any many of the most beautiful beaches in the world a short drive away. Laundry facilities, a full kitchen, utensils, sheets, tons of towels, etc. made the stay seamless in all respects. Will definitely be back in the near future!

A bargain!

Our stay at Alcide’s place was perfect! The property is exactly as described and then some. It is spacious with a constant beautiful breeze with a variety of places to relax both inside and outside. The kitchen has plenty of utensils to get you by on cooking if you need. We were greeted by Ms. Angie in a downpour! She was gracious and helpful and got as wet as we did! The property is well kept up, is clean and we were provided with an iron, ironing board, soaps, dish soap and sponge and ice. Alcide checked in often and was always very quick with any email replies. Anguilla will always be my favorite Island and Alcide’s may now be my favorite place to stay. And for the price...it cant be beat!

Tranquility

Our vacation was fabulous...this condo is a short drive from everything we needed. It was clean and had almost everything we required for our stay. The owner was always only an email away if we needed anything and always answered promptly and kindly. Tranquility is what we experienced.. almost no noise. We barely heard anyone else as there were no noisy guests which made our nights so peaceful. What we did hear were the waves on the ocean and an occasional rooster in the morning. The views from each balcony and window were spectacular and we will definitely be renting here again for our next vacations. We have decided this will be our go to vacation. And we reccomend Fruity Web for smoothies! Thank you Alcide!

Quiet corner of the island

Spacious two bedroom apartment with a balcony and a rooftop patio. We have really enjoyed views from the roof and a steady breeze. The apartment is well equipped and is located in a secluded compound. Sandy Hill beach is a short 5 min walk.

Beautiful apartment!

We loved our stay at Sandy Hill! The apartment was cozy and comfortable for our family of four. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. We only stayed one night, and didn't use the kitchen, but it was well stocked for being able to cook meals. We enjoyed the pool and the beach was just a short 5 minute walk. The pictures really don't do it justice, this was one of my favorite rentals ever! My only regret is we couldn't stay longer. But we will be back!

Picturesque, quaint and quiet piece of Anguilla.

We have visited Anguilla for 28 years and have stayed at many places around the island. Our Home Away stay in Sandy Hill was one of our favorites. Clean, tidy, friendly condo association on the sea with views of St Martin and a beautiful breeze made it hard to leave and go anywhere else. The unit was very well equipped, and porches and decks provide views of sunrises and sunsets. This felt like a bit of the laid back Anguilla of yesteryear. We will return.
