El Teatre de Great Canadian Toronto

I booked a non refundable stay since I was going in a few days. It said parking was available on site, and it’s not until after you book that you find there’s no available spots, so I was forced to look elsewhere, and drag my luggage around. That was very misleading, especially since they boast how rare it is to find a place to stay with parking on site. It was a key to my booking decision. The place was clean but the dishwasher was full, the oven looked like they sprayed the inside and lined with tin foil to clean, but never finished it. The shower had holders for soaps, but there was no soap left and no shampoo either. I tried to make coffee in the morning, but not even enough to make one pot. The pillows were INCREDIBLY thin, so extremely uncomfortable. Very good location though. We walked to the harbor for a boat ride. The CN tower, Aquarium, and Roger’s Stadium are all very close.

During my stay, the hallway had a very strong mildew smell that lingered around everyday. Also, the shower had black residue along the tiles as well as hair. Also, the Shower head was super corroded; I tried to use one of the face cloths to scrub off the corrosion but nothing happened. Lastly, two times, two different days the water was cold. I let it run for a few minutes before getting in, and after maybe 5minutes it started to warm up some. The tv did not allow me to connect to it and stream so I did not use it. Just wanted to note that this was a few things that I ran into. The staff was great and very friendly. I did not call in any complaints as these things did not interrupt my stay. The water warmed, I was out my room a good deal of time, and I still showered. I just wish the Hotel would work out a fix for these things or change the options up.
