The Rose Creek Cottage, at base of Petit Jean Mountain sleeps 4

This home was completed in 2018. It is a one bedroom located on 36 acres. There are two fishing ponds and hiking on the property for guests.
The kitchen is stocked with Pampered Chef cookware and bakeware. There are new appliances and amenities throughout.
The sofa converts into a queen bed for 2 additional guests.
In the Master bedroom, there is a king size bed. There is also a large desk for those who are working while away. The bathroom features an oversized soaker tub as well as a large shower head.
We have contactless checkin/checkout with our keypad entry system and follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning.
Petit Jean Mountain has the Museum of Automobiles, many hiking trails, bird watching, scenic overlooks, paved bike trail, horse back riding, swimming, basketball, tennis, and much more.

The only housekeeping issue is the towels were folded and put away while wet. We had to rewash and dry them before we used them. As before, another enjoyablestay.

I just don't give perfect ratings because I feel there is always a little room for improvement but, not this time. Well, I guess there is because after speaking with the host, I found out the wonderful history of "The Rose Creek Cottage" and I feel some of that should be included in the description then more details somewhere at the cottage for those interested to read. I loved the place before I knew the history and loved it even more after learning some of it. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had my dog with me and my friend from KY, I live in NW AR, and there was more than enough room in the cabin for us. The bed was very comfortable, the living room furniture was comfy too. Kitchen well equipped, maybe needs a full size coffee pot for coffeholics like myself but was great with small coffee pot and Keurig, and had lots of spices for anything you would want to cook. My dog and I explored the property some and it was wonderful. I got to enjoy the grounds and she got to enjoy all the scents. The cottage in beautifully restored, my dog and I could easily live there and be very happy! So peaceful and relaxing. I hope I am able to go back again some time and stay longer.Host is great, very friendly and easy to contact. Cabin is clean, well stocked and pet friendly. I did bring my dog her own bed but didn't expect there to be a dog bed. plenty of outdoor space to enjoy and explore as well.

A cozy place to stay for a little get away, or a longer stay. Far enough away from everything that you can relax, close enough that you can get to fun. Place was clean, tidy and an absolute blast to stay in.

We had a great stay at the Rose Creek Cottage! Loved the updated decor, comfy bed and big tub for soaking after hiking all day. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and great pots and pans...everything you would need to make meals plus a big fridge. The Host was most helpful. We will be re ommending this sweet cottage to family and frie nds..

The property was clean and peaceful. It had everything we needed. Do be careful cause there’s little to no cell reception in the area so pay attention to the hosts directions. GPS will get you close but then will send you in circles a bit. We had a really nice time:)
