The Rose Creek Cottage, at base of Petit Jean Mountain sleeps 4

This home was completed in 2018. It is a one bedroom located on 36 acres. There are two fishing ponds and hiking on the property for guests.
The kitchen is stocked with Pampered Chef cookware and bakeware. There are new appliances and amenities throughout.
The sofa converts into a queen bed for 2 additional guests.
In the Master bedroom, there is a queen size bed. There is also a large desk for those who are working while away. The bathroom features an oversized soaker tub as well as a large shower head.
We have contactless checkin/checkout with our keypad entry system and follow the CDC guidelines for cleaning.
Petit Jean Mountain has the Museum of Automobiles, many hiking trails, bird watching, scenic overlooks, paved bike trail, horse back riding, swimming, basketball, tennis, and much more.

Weekend In the Country

We loved the cottage on Mt. Casa Rd! It was so quiet and relaxing - the distance to Petit Jean State Park was ideal for us, and we had a wonderful time. The property manager was quick to answer any questions we had, and the cottage was clean as a whistle, including freshly mowed lawn, when we arrived. Highly recommend if you want to be near Petit Jean.

Short Relaxing Vacation

We really enjoyed ourselves if you want peace & quiet this is definitely the place. We enjoy fishing the 2 ponds & going to Petit Jean State Park hiking, fishing & biking we had access to the garage to store our bikes & fishing gear also the dryer is in the garage. If your not from the country watch for snakes we did see a few understand there will be bugs & check yourself for ticks. I would definitely recommend to stay at Rose Creek perfect for a couple. We caught several fish while we were fishing the ponds we did catch & release.

Beautiful stay on Petit Jean

We love Petit Jean, and were so excited to find a cabin with great proximity to the state park. It was 10 minutes to Mather lodge! The cabin itself was perfect. Very clean and spacious. We hope to be back!

Wonderful getaway.

This property was as described. Super clean and we'll stocked with everything we we needed. The internet speed was awesome. We hiked Petit Jean and made a fire in the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Little slice of heaven

This property was very peaceful and quiet. My favorite part was the swing that overlooked the backyard. Low traffic on road out front made for a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Property is about 15 to Petit Jean State Park. Very convenient. Owner was very responsive to all questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and Relaxing

When we drove up, it looked exactly like the photos. Such a unique history to the building that was shared in a guest book on the coffee table. The entire property was very clean inside and out. We enjoyed the backyard with the fire, swing, and grill. The daffodils were in bloom! We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Secluded Cottage

The property was perfect for us, both the cabin and the acreage. We were so thankful to find a nice place that allowed our dogs and taking walks on the property was great for us all!

Close to Petit Jean with a flexibility of having your own place and kitchen

I am not a fan of staying in hotels and lodges if there is no kitchen, so this was the perfect choice for us. The back yard was nice and quiet and although it’s right next to the road, very few casa to by and you won’t be bothered by the noise. Please note that there is only a washing machine but no dryer.

Great for us.

This house was perfect for us. The backyard and trails on the property were perfect for our German Shepherd. The house was clean, spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and utensils. Would definitely stay here again.
