"Front desk staff was very abrupt & almost rude at check-in. Elevator could be checked--very noisy cables & "dropped" when coming down to 1st. Otherwise, rooms were clean and beds comfortable! Breakfast was also good with several options to choose from."

"The guy at check in was nice. He said the room would be ready a little early but it wasn’t. Not a big deal. The rooms are normally pretty clean but this time I found dog food and crumbs on the floor and there were stains on the bed linens. The mirrors were not clean either. I noticed they were training new cleaning staff so maybe they forgot a few things. I’ll give them another chance because this place is ideal for my trips to Fruita. "The hotel clerk realized I would have difficulty with a second floor room. She called the housekeeper to check on how soon she would be done cleaning one of the first floor rooms. They worked together and got me on the first floor. I was very grateful for that."

"Older motel trying to look new. Bedding was updated and clean. Love no carpeting in room and hallways. But hole in bathroom door, splintered at top, nothing else updated. Hotel had a perfume smell like they were trying to hide something. Would not stay even for one night. Very basic breakfast, but coffee and juice was fine. Run down parking lot, beside a gas station. "

"Ideal location as it’s12 minutes from the airport. While the motel is situated on a busy road surrounded by strip malls and fast food, it’s peaceful and pleasant inside. Has a lovely little courtyard with trees, landscaping, and a few tables and chairs. Nice indoor pool and hot tub, and a tiny fitness room. Staff were fine at check in and check out. Love the free breakfast, but coffee could be better. "

"My wife and I got to hotel around dinner time, so we checked in then went to find somewhere to eat. When we got back to the room, we just went to the room and relaxed. We did not use the pool, so I can't rate it. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good."

"The room was filled with bugs and the staff did nothing about it but tell me it’s normal. They didn’t apologize or talk about cleaning better. They need to have the maids clean better if that’s going to happen and they are normal. The front desk was unhelpful and made me feel dumb for bringing it up instead of a customer is right type of mindset."
