"Bar closes at 11pm. Refused me service from 10.40pm but continued serving others. And no, I was not intoxicated. I had been told the bar was closing evidently. The latecomers had not. They were still there when I returned from the local pub. You are supposed to aspire to something adult, young lady (bar manager) and being a Karen is not being adult."

"It is a lovely and charming heritage hotel that is extremely comfortable with spacious rooms and is in a prime location. Staff are extremely helpful and welcoming - they were truly exceptional. The bathroom was a good size but some of the fittings have worn with time and there are a few things we feel were missing from the tea and coffee station. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we look forward to our next visit."

"Summary: they charged me a bogus fee for using a bed that should have been included in my reservation. It felt like a bait and switch and I really didn't like it. I booked a room for a family of five people. I was placed in a room with one queen/king sized bed, two twin beds, and a full/queen pull out sofa. Should be fine as there are 6 bed spaces in the room. However, at check in the receptionist said there was an extra $50/night to use the pull out. I pointed out that use of the pull out...

"The room was great. Clean and comfortable. There couldn’t be a better location. We walked to the ferry daily and the huge mall with a full grocery store, plenty of food options, and lots of opportunities for shopping. The one thing that was ridiculous was parking. There isn’t any! You pay to park at a lot around the block in addition to what you already paid for the room."
