"The reception desk staff were pleasant and helpful. When we had a maintenance issue in our room, it was resolved within minutes. All of the furnishings were clean, but very worn, and outdated. The lighting in all the rooms was very dim. Although it was mid-July and we had the a/c set at 68 degrees, the room vents started blowing out very warm, humid air in the middle of the night, which made the room stifling, and impossible to sleep in. One of the elevators wasn’t working."

"For the price you can’t complain too much. The hotel was very laid back which I enjoyed but when we arrived we were given a room key that ended up unlocking a room someone was currently already staying in. I loved the amenities of the kitchen area in the room. The only problem I ran into was the key thing and also the smell of the room. It smelled very very wet and damp like it was full of wet clothes or something which made the air in the room very muggy and the bedding didn’t feel very clean."

"My room did not have a smoke detector also the door was difficult to open another fire hazard. Shower was moldy. Although hotels have star ratings, that doesn’t exempt the hotel from offering clean, safe and life safety facilities."
