"Omg…. This place was old school Hollywood at its finest! Fantastic location on a quiet residential street just off Melrose. The cottages are adorable and well appointed. The staff is friendly and attentive, but note they front desk closes at 5pm, so arrangements need to be made if you arrive later (which they totally accommodate)! It’s like a Bed and Breakfast but without the breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Honestly, this place was a letdown. The moment we walked into our first room on the 2nd floor, there was a spider just sitting on the wall like it owned the place. Not exactly the welcome you expect. The next morning made it worse—the shower water was ice cold and stayed that way. No hot water at all. We had to switch rooms because of it. So they move us to the 10th floor, and somehow it gets worse. The light switch in the room didn’t even work. Like… how is that even acceptable? And to top it...

"Quaint. Staff were exceptional . Management showed their presence and assisted me with a behind-the-scenes issue with booking. Our room was a little rundown, but large and spacious. The beds were so comfortable with lots of pillow options that gave me a close to my own bed experience. The hotel was quiet, which also added to restful nights of sleep. The shower is awful, lower water pressure and a waterfall style at the top of the tall ceiling, so the by the time it hits someone under 6 foot feels like a light sprinkle. There is zero counter space in the bathroom and the lighting is dim. Bed was comfortable and thermostat worked great to keep the room cool. Staff was friendly and the location of the hotel is amazing! The parking included in the cost of the stay makes it a great option despite the drawbacks...
