"We had a very enjoyable stay at Strattons Hotel. The hotel was one of six I believe. We were just over the road from reception and where the restaurant is located. Very clean room which wasn’t as big as I was expecting but more than adequate for myself and my husband. I arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be in the room for when we arrived, this was done along with a birthday card - lovely touch. Breakfast was brilliant. Quality meat we got to enjoy breakfast outside twice as the weather was...

Easy locatltion from train station (6 mins in a taxi), easy walk to the Cathedral where we were visiting for an event. Staff were friendly, hotel was clean, tidy and modern. Had a drink in the bar; good selection, polite staff. Had breakfast jn the morning; variety of foods and drinks (even had decaf which is great). Would return ajd recommend "
