"Food options: limited to one cafe that is not open for dinner. That cafe does have a nice breakfast. You do have to walk a bit or take the convenient train for dinner. This is the only minor negative for Beckett. The bed and pillows were wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Super convenient to tram."

"The location is perfect if you are wanting to explore Temple Bar! You can definitely hear people partying pretty late but that didn’t bother us, it comes with the location. The room is also quite small but my partner and I are both on the smaller side so we were good with that too. In addition, the staff was absolutely amazing and you had to scan your card to get to the floor your room was on so we definitely felt very safe (Dublin itself felt really safe to us in general). I had the best sleep...

"Would recommend the hotel. We had a junior corner suite and it was quiet and well appointed. The staff was excellent. The beds and linens were superior. Agree with the five star rating. For families traveling with children the pool has limited hours, but they were accommodating outside of those hours which we much appreciated. Our dining experience we much enjoyed. "

"We would definitely stay at The Davenport again. We liked the location near Merrion Square- a little away from the crowds in Grafton St /Temple Bar area, but still very walkable to those places. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good, lots of choices. We quite enjoyed our stay. "

"This was our second time staying at the Grand Canal. It was wonderful then, and it was wonderful again. Staff was super! Rooms were clean and had all the necessities needed for travel. We did stop at the bar and restaurant for drinks and some appetizers. Staff there was great also. Convenient to bus, or walking to sites. Definitely worthy when you are looking for a place in Dublin. "
