"Our stay was for 4 nights. It was nice to have b/f each day. Would have been nice that hosts offered hard boiled eggs and maybe croissants on at least one of our mornings. Coffee was excellent. The room was quite small for this long of duration. We like a hard bed and found this one quite soft. Loved the big windows! Free parking on the side of property and great location for our needs. "

We arrived quite early and asked about early check-in, and the front desk kindly accommodated us, which we really appreciated. "Please pay attention to the food and beverage credit from skipping daily housekeeping. It can only be used in the restaurant. I don't mind the credit after all. But It wasted my time trying to use it for drinks by the front desk, for which I was told by two staff members that I can use the credit. When I went for the drink, the third staff member refused to let me use the credit by showing me the smallest fine prints. I have nothing against the third staff member. Just hope the management would...

"Didn't have breakfast, but on checkout day I asked if we could overstay by half hour or more and she was friendly and said " sure " . Just a little bit more than required. It makes a difference!"

"Old tired and very over priced. Mould in the bathrooms, rooms haven’t been renovated for 20+ years. For a great building with lots of potential the hotel is nothing but disappointing. On the positive side the public gym in the basement has a cold plunge pool. "

"This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were very spacious and clean with lovely decor. The location was great within walking distance to everything. The staff at the front desk were all very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again if in Christchurch."
