Snow-covered slopes, beautiful fall colors, and sun-splashed beaches are all mere minutes from this condo in the North Creek Resort complex on the north side of Blue Mountain Resort! Enjoy a private deck, an electric fireplace to cozy up to each evening, and shared facilities that include a seasonal pool and tennis courts - all only steps from the chair lift and ski runs.

This condo is located in North Creek Resort, a complex that's less than a quarter-mile from the base of the Weider Express High-Speed Lift at Blue Mountain Resort. The free resort shuttle bus stops outside the complex, connecting you to charming Blue Mountain Village (less than a mile south) and its plentiful shops and restaurants. In the summer months, the property is one mile south of Northwinds Beach on South Georgian Bay (an excellent spot for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding), one mile north of Monterra Golf (and within a 12-mile drive of four other courses), and 20 miles west of Wasaga Beach.

The shared pool is typically open from just after Victoria Day Weekend in May through Labour Day Weekend in September. Dates are subject to change.
Charcoal is not provided for the shared charcoal grill.
This home is near but not associated with the Blue Mountain Resort.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great place, appliance problem.

The stay was great, house was clean and the photos were a great example of what was listed. Only problem I had was refrigerator didn’t get cold enough to hold food or friends medication.

Good bang for your buck

You’re given a code for the door by text which took us a few tries to realize you have to press the check mark after the code, no big deal. Upon entering we were greeted by a strong odour that we assume was food from the guest before us but otherwise the place looked very clean. We provided feedback when asked via text to rate the place. Property manager replied immediately and asked if we wanted the cleaners to come back but we refused as there is not much you can do about food odour and we just aired it out. Not a big deal but just not the most pleasant smell to sit in. Pretty much has everything you need including silverware, dishes, ironing board etc. One of my guests said the ironing cover could be replaced but was nice to have. The outlet in the downstairs bathroom would not work but my husband realized the next day when we got there that the upstairs one was tripped. So FYI both bathroom wall plugs are on the same GFI. This place is very close to the village and includes shuttle which is nice but we forgot about it and didn’t use it. Enjoyed a nice walk to the village one morning and saw a baby fox, about a 20 minute walk. Did not have a chance to check out the pool or hot tub. Overall satisfied with our stay, just wanted to provide feedback for people who may be swayed by certain aspects of the property.

Great location

On the listing it’s mentioned 2 bedrooms but it’s 1 bedroom and 1 loft area. Also the loft area doesn’t have an air conditioner and it’s get very hot. The ceiling fan was not enough to cool and it was making noise. Other than than it was a hoot property with the excellent location. Kids loved the pool and hot tub.

Great Stay

The condo was perfect for a 5 night stay. Close to the Village. The pool was great. Had everything we needed. The description says air conditioning but the machine was upstairs only and didn’t really cool the main floor at all. Couldn’t use dishwasher as it’s not installed so opening it was an issue as the unit came outwards also. Wasn’t a big deal as we just hand washed dishes. Other than that it was wonderful. Thank you!

Great place to stay

The condo was great - very clean, beds were comfortable, bath towels and small toiletries were available and appreciated! The kitchen is also very well-stocked with every utensil or piece of cookwear you would need, though you would have to bring cooking basics such as salt and oil. The only real improvement I would suggest is replacing the bedside speakers with charging stations for phones, since we didn't all have outlets near our beds and several phones had to be left elsewhere to charge (which is only a problem when you use it as your morning alarm). On another note, it was impossible to contact the host through VRBO itself - I ended up having to call Vacasa (long-distance) to make some advanced changes to our booking. However, once I got through, they were very accommodating and provided great service. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Great stay for small family

For a few nights for the opportunity to access the skiing at Blue Mountain, this was perfect for us. North Creek Resort staff were always busy at work doing ice maintenance outside and when I let management know there was an issue with dirty dishes that we found in the cupboard on arrival, they responded immediately and appropriately. The 'walk to the slopes' only applies to the Toronto Ski Club which is adjacent to this complex but Blue Mountain is just a few minutes drive away. We also found a wonderful hiking trail up the hill.

overall cleanliness and condition of unit was very good. A small issue is the lack of salt and pepper. It would be handy if packets were available. due to covid restrictions, restaurants were not open for dine in and we didn't think of getting salt and pepper shakers for a 2 day visit. parking was super difficult
