"Great place to stay just outside Bath with an easy bus route into the City Centre opposite the Rose and Crown. The hosts were all friendly and helpful and the place was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was very good , a great choice of fresh tasty treats. We will stay again."

"I stayed at this for a few days of peace and quiet and not sure I could find a better place. The whole establishment was clean and a nice balance between retro and modern, which made it homely but also very comfortable. I stayed in one of the top floor rooms with new Veluxes, a shower with excellent hot water and comfortable towels. Breakfasts are delicious and well worth the price inclusion, and any issues I had were quickly sorted by the staff. If you're thinking of staying here, you can't go...

"Very nice property. Room clean and well maintained, breakfast was fantastic. Service exceptional, we were allowed to check in early, and checkout was painless. Would stay again if in the area. Only downside is no parking at the hotel, but there are (not free) car parks very close."

"Beautiful location but very tired. Great location just outside of Bath but the hotel is very dated and needs a refurb. Rooms are clean but dark wood furniture and bathroom facilities definitely need an update. Breakfast was average in a very old fashioned dining area and buffer layout was amateurish compared with modern hotels. That said, lovely location and great pub at the bottom of the driveway!"
