"The location is excellent- one can walk to the Egyptian Museum and it is only a 3 minute walk to a lovely coffee bar. The staff are excellent and the breakfast was very good, eggs, fruit, cheese, bread etc. The room was not only large but very clean. The hotel arranged my day trip to Alexandria and its execution was flawless . I also recommend having the hotel to have a driver meet you at the airport and whilst there was some confusion, using What’s App easily resolved the problem."

"Quiet boutique hotel with very accommodating staff. Served us dinner despite our arriving as restaurant was closing. Quaint boutique hotel of a type that’s uncommon in Cairo. Quiet also means not much nearby eg for dining but the hotel itself has reasonable dining options. Excellent breakfast including cappuccino."

"The hotel is a dump, more a hostel than hotel. Walking up the stairs is very dirty, dark, large garbin bins along each corridor, locked rooms with padlocks. We left after6 hours as we came in at 1am. We lost all our money, orbits should refund me as i had to book another hotel. Orbits rebiews amd rating was inaccurate."

"Disappointing Overall Experience.
We arrived at night only to be told that no rooms were available. We were offered accommodation at a lesser hotel about a 10-minute walk away, where we had to check in separately, check out the following day, and then return to this hotel for our room. No assistance was provided throughout this process, which was particularly frustrating after travelling.
The room itself was okay, but the service was poor. Our room was not cleaned until we raised the issue...

"We had to stay a night here as our original hotel wouldn't allow an early check in so we found this last minute. For the price you get what you pay for. AC didn't work so we had to keep balcony door open at night. It was walkable to shops and restaurants open late at night so that was good. Area seemed like heavily local and not touristy. The breakfast in the morning was good given the price."

"DO NOT JUDGE THIS HOTEL FROM THE STREET OR EVEN WHEN YOU ENTER THE MAIN DOOR! It looks so rundown and dingy but when you get to the first floor and enter the hotel doors, it’s a completely new story. Sama Hotel was squeaky clean with amazing staff who were always ready to help. The rooms were spacious and the bed was so comfy. Certain rooms even have washing machines which came in great for washing our clothes after a trip to the pyramids. The breakfast is prepared fresh via an online order app...

"The South Tower is very old and room is very small. The next day I switch to north tower which is part of my Viking cruise. it is completely different. More upscale and roomier. I wish I know it before I booked. I still have two more nights after finishing my Viking tour. I will talk to front desk and hopefully I can find a way to stay in North Tower instead of South Tower."

"The property itself is like a motel with four floors and no elevator. But what if makes this budget hotel a five star is the outstanding staff and the beautiful view of the pyramids from the rooftop.
A big shout out for Doo , Aizim , Aya and Abdu. Sorry about the probably mispelling of their names.
Would I return to the Nut? Of course, your staff makes up for the shortcomings of the building."
