But what I a lovely surprise bean I went inside clean friendly staff with great clean spacious rooms with equipped with tea, coffee biscuits, towels in the bathroom with shampoo soap and breakfast was very good and plenty of it and served from 06:30 so time to eat it and get to work so 5 stars all round"

"Difficult to find. Not signed Alpine lodge outside. Instructions to pick key up from safe not in. TV didn't work moved room no sink. No fixed heating device with working Temperature Control Valve. Chep yes. But won't rebook communal showerW/C. Well under local authority radar."

"We always happily seem to get the same room so although I cannot comment on any other room, room 211 has consistently been clean and comfortable. It is well appointed with a bath, which I personally love as so many hotels just squeeze in a shower. The check-in is friendly, professional and fast so it was only moments before the bags could be dumped and the reason for a visit could begin. "

"Breakfast excellent. Lovely property and surroundings..Peaceful location with good parking including electric chargers. Friendly staff. We had an executive room in the old stable block. Very comfortable. Strong shower and water very hot. A couple of minor points that would be easy to remedy: a shelf or basket to put shampoo in rather than on the edge or the bath and a towel hook within easy reach of the shower. "
