The location was outstanding—just a 2-minute walk to the Promenade and within walking distance of countless restaurants, cafés, bakeries, gelato, and crêpe shops. There were also several stores nearby that sold everything we needed for the beach, including water shoes, floaties, goggles, and other essentials for kids. "The staff is lovely here, especially one woman with dark hair and glasses who was kind and very helpful. Although the place does not have amenities such as spa, pool, gym, it has a bar and small menu of food and several sitting areas out and indoors which was lovely to have a cocktail at after long days."

"Maison Lamartine was an excellent stay in Nice. But a short walk to the beach, the property is immaculate. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. The only thing that we regret is we had to take breakfast in a hurry, as we had a train to catch. The breakfast was full of local and fresh pastries, jams, and cheeses. We wish we could have enjoyed a two hour breakfast. The place is top notch and will gladly return."

"Superb location, lovely, clean and well appointed rooms. Staff very helpful. Didn't use the restaurant but did have coffees/beers on the terrace watching the world go by .. The views are stunning and don't worry about the lack of pool as there are two little rocky/stone beaches right in front of the hotel. Highly recommend."

"This was our 6th time staying at this hotel: Did feel this time it wasn’t as good as previous stays. Breakfast was very good, however a limited menu in the evening we stayed 4nights and the menu didn’t change.The outdoor pool is open until 9 at night and is by the restaurant so can get noisy with children using it in the evening. Rooms are clean and service very good so is the location which is very close to shops etc."
