"What an absolutely gorgeous property. It was clean, quiet, and a perfect place to take our boys. Ruth and Dennis (Owners), along with Any and Kurt (Caretakers) helped to make our weekend getaway flawless. "This property was so peaceful and quiet. It sits on a large lot with lots of privacy. The walk down to the dock is fun for kids, lots of rocks and it’s a little trail. We spent most of our time down at the dock. The views were spectacular, beautiful reflections in the water each morning, calm quiet lake and the sunset right in front of us each night. "Our stay in Mount Vernon was fantastic! The house was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lots of beach and bath towels. We could have used another kayak or two (there were 8 of us and 2 kayaks) but other than that we wanted for nothing. Would definitely come again!"
