This is an Awesome Viking Lodge Condo in Telluride, CO Which We Have Owned for Over 31 Years. The Location is Amazing. 1st Floor...no stairs to climb. You Will Love It!

Our Condo Can Accommodate Up to 6 Guests. BUT! THE condo is only 478 sq. ft. If 6 guests plan on staying, a family with kids would work better with the space available. Also, the top bunk bed should be reserved only for older children because of the height of the bed.

*The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster oven, induction cooktop, stainless steel electric fryer, microwave, crock pot, rice/vegie steamer, coffee maker (for loose coffee grounds) and blender to use. Although, there is NO STOVE, you should be able to make most meals with ease with these appliances. The barbecue right outside our patio by the flower garden is a charcoal grill. The best charcoal bricks to use are the kind with the lighter fluid already absorbed in the bricks. Otherwise, the coals take forever to get hot. I believe the high attitude might have something to do with this. The Siam restaurant is right across the street which has gotten great reviews plus, of course, there are many other restaurants to choose from around town. The Wine Mine liquor store is right across the street, too.

Yes, the place is small. Really small. You open the front door - and it passes the next bed frame by just an inch. But how much can you make out of a place like this? Host Joanie shows how it’s done. Every wall, every little bit shows how much thought she has put into this place. A minuscule kitchen? No problem with all the widgets available to you. A fridge for an entire family? Sure. Nice light fixtures for the personal touch? Some nice pieces of art on the wall? Unique pieces of furniture? Sure! A comfy chair and a great sofa: Check. We loved staying here for the week, everything was very clean - and I have no idea how anyone would actually use all those towels that were at our disposition. The only thing I would change? Well - I’m picky in that way: Replace all the “cool white” or “daylight” LED light bulbs with “warm white” ones - for a cozier feeling. This place is definitely a consideration if I come back to Telluride.

We absolutely loved the location of this condo. We were perfectly situated at the beginning of town and walked everywhere. The grocery store is around the corner and the gondola and lift 7 were just short walk away. Joan is an excellent host and very communicative. She is so thorough that I only had to reach out for a few questions which she promptly answered. I highly recommend this condo. Telluride is perfect and magical. Thank you Joan for a memorable trip!

This property is close to everything as you can see with the other posts, but the accessibility of the owner for incidental questions is wonderful. Joanie was helpful at every turn. the location to the gondola AND another ski lift was ideal and maybe a 5 min. walk in ski boots.Finally, the condo was so well stocked with everything we could possibly need from kitchenware to bathroom supplies.great little place...plan on staying there again!

We had an amazing stay in the condo. The location on the river path is fabulous for walks into town and to gondola. The outside patio is the best asset to the condo with beautiful Mountain View’s and watching the gondola rise up over the mountain. The condo itself is difficult to cook in without a stove top. We learned to microwave eggs ( couldn’t find electric skillet). The condo is long and narrow and fitting 4 people would be tight. Overall its location is fabulous. The owner responded quickly with a clogged sink.

Love Telluride, especially in late September. Location was 10 minute walk to the gondola, and next to Telluride trail and the river. Really nice to be on ground floor with patio. The room is a one bedroom, but entry is into the bedroom (not a problem). Parking is difficult since there are fewer spaces than rooms in Viking Lodge (only an issue during busy season). Communication with owner was easy during stay. Would stay again.

We stayed with friends for the Blues and Brews festival and thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend!! The condo is perfectly located beside the river walk with a beautiful view outback on the patio. We sat outside every morning and evening and listened to the running river. The house had everything we needed and the perfect size for the 4 of us! We hope to be back again soon!!

In a village famous for its exclusivity and priciness, Joanie’s condo was comfortable, clean, affordable, and so well situated. While not large, it had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, the sitting room was very nice, and the kitchen facilities (while limited), were functional and in great shape. I appreciated the patio and proximity to the river trail. Joanie was a perfect host, and communicated very helpfully before and during our stay.

This property was well located for easy access to Telluride's down town (walk, free bus, bike or drive). It was a short walk to the free Gondola that you can take to the Mountain Village or skiing, hiking or biking. It's a short drive to several beautiful hikes and one within a short walk. The property is on the river and there is a dirt trail that also goes along the river. The Siam Restaurant is just across the street and was amazing. The hot tub was a very nice perk. The unit is an efficient use of the space with plenty of wall hooks for all your needed mountain gear. Joanie was a great host who answered all our questions promptly and made sure we felt welcomed and that we arrived safely. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic stay in incredible Telluride. Lovely location right on the river walk and five minute stroll to gondola and town. Unit was as described and worked great for our family (2 adults, 2 teens). Did breakfasts and dinner at home using the crock pot and plug-in induction stove. Roof construction was underway but we were out most of the day. Joanie is a very kind & responsive host & promptly took care of anything that came up. Would book again!

Joanie did an exceptional job in communicating with us about any questions we had. Location is about a 10-15min walk to town park. Although the unit doesn't have a full built in kitchen, it does have all the appliances you would need to cook anything. Would certainly stay here again.
