The Bear Creek Lodge is a beautiful property in the quiet part of Mountain Village of Telluride. Very clean and quiet, with all the amenities. A quick walk to the gondola gets you to the main part of Mountain Village, then you can hop on another gondola to get down in to town. So whether you want to stay up on the mountain or enjoy the town, it's very easy to do.

Everything was great except the parking fee Just ridiculous to pay such prices to park when the lodge is so expensive anyway had to pay for 2 spaces because of a trailer

Weekend trip to beautiful Telluride

The condo is nice, as described with no issues. The building personnel are very unprofessional though. Luckily, you don’t need to interact with them much past check in.

Great room, nice facilities

Room was nicer than most ski lodges I've stayed in. Large comfortable bed, plenty of storage, large bathroom, very clean. Awesome desk staff, shuttle to gondola, nice pool and gym... Did not have a need to connect with property owner directly but booking was not a problem. Recommended!

Great for a quick trip in

Didn't have much time or notice for this trip, and the lock off was pretty much what we needed. Other than one night needing to park over at the gondola and the shower head being a bit less than ideal with water spraying random directions, it was exactly as promised. Would stay again!

Not the owners fault

We booked this room at the property. We got to the property, they gave us the keys and someone else was already occupying the room. We went back to the desk and they said they had moved us and didn’t catch it at initial check in. Our new room did not have the same space nor the same amenities.

Small room, but nice location

The room itself was pretty small, I was glad I didn't have to work the days we stay because there is no table. We had to ask for a small refrigerator. But overall, it's a great building. We enjoyed the hot tub a few nights and reading out on the nice chairs overlooking the woods was beautiful. We had easy access to the market and the gondola and plenty of trails. It's a good room if you know you're going to be out and about most of the trip!

Misleading

I expected a beautiful lodge with beautiful rooms. What I got was a nice facade and a mediocre room. To get to my room I had to go through the gym and then outdoors to a room with a lovely view of the parking lot. The room itself is weirdly laid out with the bed in the main room and than a loooonnng hallway to get to the bathroom. There were no wall hangings and the coffee maker/visitor info area was in an old tv cabinet with the doors removed. Very underwhelming. I won’t be staying here again. Not recommended.

Great place-will be back!

The property is nicer than I expected! Shuttle between lodge and locations in Mountain Village wasn’t posted, I think, and this is really useful. Nice walking distance to gondola when you need more fresh air. Had to bail out due to Covid-19 shutdown of resort, but I’ll definite be booking next winter when I come back.
