"Bubbelpool was good"

"It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it"

"Brekfast looks so old fruit look nasty fly and bug in every well I not expect Expedia select this property now I have to make sure when I book from Expedia this hotel don’t have shop shampoo I ask staff they give me some one use bottle that’s so nasty they charge me 20 Swiss money I don’t know why plz remove from u book list such bad experience hope no one book I never see this kind of bad breakfast in my life"

"I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time."

"Where to start? The pictures you see may or may not be where you stay. Our room is on the 3rd floor of a wooden old building that can be best described as a huge fire hazard with no alternative exit, but that is not where the bad ends. The room was furnished with what can best be described as old furniture that may have been salvaged from the curb, combined with more modern pieces from the local super cheap version of Ikea's sister company . "The hotel does not have AC. When we asked about AC, they said they would see if they could give us fans. We ended up leaving because it was 89 degrees Fahrenheit, and they offered to reimburse us for 1% of the expense (city taxes). The location was nice, but the hotel is outdated for the price"
