"Great location and friendly stuff"

"Inn was in a great location along the main shopping and cafe strip. The Inn was looking a bit tired but overall comfortable enough. The WiFi was very patchy and the sheets were very thin and worn. Dinner in the on-site restaurant was excellent, one of the best meals of our trip."

"Friendly, comfy, convenient weekend spot close to restaurants and rec trail"

"Nice room, common areas, and outside area (fire pits, hot tub, green space backing up to a stream). We were a little confused by two thermostats in the room- one no longer seemed to be in use (but still active)."

"The property was just beautiful. If I had one thing to complain about were the towels. Very thin towels. But overall, a great location"

"We really enjoyed our time. We had a couple of issues with refills of things in our cabin by the housekeeping staff, but other than that, it was pretty perfect. The hot tub was delightful and the food and service at the restaurant was top-notch."

"The property is a bit dated and could benefit from some updates, but it was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We really appreciated the cleanliness and hospitality, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great place to stay for our weekend getaway in Stowe, and we would definitely consider staying here again!"

"Visited in early November, caught the fall leaves and the cooler weather. This hotel was located in such a great location, very close to Main Street and the restaurants for dinner, great selection, were just down the road"

"Great overall experience."

"Love the location and the accommodations. Very walkable within the small downtown area with shops, restaurants and views. The main bldg has a lot of charm, classic decor. There are additional accommodations, with more like a cabin feel. Very cute, comfortable, charm. Good parking and very friendly."

"Bathroom set up not idea"

"Love the layout of the cabin, felt comfortable and cozy."

"The Butler House is an extremely cozy inn with a great breakfast restaurant (Make reservations, it gets packed) that's perfectly located for anyone who does not want to have to drive. Check-in was very easy and convenient, although it is self check-in (no concierge desk). We will definitely be staying here again in the near-future."

"Over all excellent"
