"I was very disappointed with my stay. The property is significantly overpriced for what it offers. The jacuzzi was one of the biggest disappointments—the water was dirty, which made it unpleasant and unacceptable to use. The breakfast was just average, with very limited healthy options. "Front desk faces Moonridge and is open until 5. Kameron was helpful. Parking spaces are not large, consider driving a medium SUV or a smaller vehicle when you stay here. Slow down; easy to overshoot the two entrances from Moonridge. I stayed in the Crabapple room that faced the main road. While I felt safe, I did not want to open the window due to road noise. No fridge, microwave, or closet in room. Attractive decor throughout; it looks a bit overwhelming on the photos but is quite relaxing....

"We loved out stay! Our cabin had everything we needed, and space to chill. When it got a touch warm, our hosts were quick to bring us a fan. The property is super cute with a modern vibe and a perfect kitchen. Our kids loved the queen bunk beds and the games in the cabin made for great memories. We’ll be back!"

"This is the perfect place to spend a nice quiet weekend away. Great park your car and walk everywhere you want go arround the village. Or just stay there and hand out at the restaurant at the end of the property, it's wonderful. The outside seating is basically on the lake. You can literally walk out your door, turn and you see and can walk down to the lake. It's name is what it is "vintage". It's a lovely version of an old 60's roadside motel. "I hate to give such a bad review. My family began staying at the Goldmine Lodge in the early 1990s, so it had some nostalgic value. This weekend was the first time since 2007, and the property is really run-down. The wall heater didn't work, and the BBQs were rusted out and unusable. Most of the switches didn't work, and the kitchen window was broken."

"Big Bear Lake was a great getaway for our much needed family vacation. Our cabin was very cozy and charming. We had all the amenities we needed. Great location. Close to the Lake, hiking, shopping, & dining. "

"Everything was wonderful except for the beds. Every bed was so soft it was hard to sleep in any bed. It was clean and quiet. Cool Cabins took really good care of us. Anything we needed or asked for they were on it. Loved that! The carpet needed a good cleaning also there were spots everywhere."
