"The Itsy by Treebo is barely a hotel. It has the sense of a building under construction, in a part of the city under construction as well. Amenities are barebone and the staff barely speaks English. I was also particularly annoyed because while I was napping the staff barged into my room to install a new TV. That was completely unacceptable as I said I did not want them in the room, and they did it anyways. I would absolutely not stay here again."

"This is a well kept small hotel set back into the jungle, about five minutes away from Trivandrum, with the sounds of native birds filling the air in the morning and evening. The rooms are comfortable, with beautiful tropical views, and the staff very accommodating."

"It was a one night stay before a flight. The check in was quick (but 2 forms to fill in!); the room spacious and comfortable with efficient cooling. The lift played Brahms’ lullaby. There is a small swimming pool which I enjoyed a couple of times, which seemed seldom used, but a real pleasure. It’s located off some main road and easy to get places. "We were very disappointed with the service at this hotel. When we tried to pay during the day, no staff were present at reception. We went to reception several times and I even sat in the garden for an hour on a video call and didn’t see anyone. We assumed we would be able to settle the bill in the morning, but instead, someone came knocking on our door at 10pm demanding payment.
