Museo de la Técinica

The museum was opened in 1991 as a sister museum of the Sinsheim Auto & Technik Museum and is run by a registered alliance called "Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim e.V.". As of 2004, it has more than 2,000 exhibits and an exhibition area of more than 150,000 m² (indoors and outdoors). It pulls more than half a million visitors per year. In addition to the exhibitions, the museum also sports a 22 m x 27 m giant IMAX Dome theatre. n spring 2002, Lufthansa donated a retired Boeing 747-200 aircraft, which is now accessible to visitors. In April 2008, a Soviet/Russian Buran spacecraft, OK-GLI, was transported to the Technikmuseum and is now another walk-in exhibit. Other walk-in highlights are an Antonov An-22 and several other aircraft types, locomotives, the houseboat Sean O'Kelley of the Kelly Family, and submarine U9 of the German Navy

Our twin room, including the bathroom, was small for 2 persons. Great Breakfast, fresh omelette, fresh fried eggs, variety of different teas and breads. Friendly staff, near the lake and park. 15-20 min on foot from the old town.

El lugar es agradable. Sencillo. Habitación de buen tamaño. Buen área de estacionamiento. Quizás nos faltó más tiempo para disfrutarlo mejor.

Llegamos un poco más temprano y el personal no hizo lo más mínimo por tratar de conseguirnos una habitación un poco antes, si bien está claro que el check in era a las 3 pm en otras ocasiones si alguna habitación está lista antes te la dan por ejemplo el Novotel Madrid. En la mañana nos abrieron 4 veces el cuarto para hacer limpieza desde las 7 am
