"This was a great and affordable cabin and it was in an awesome, quiet area just south of the caringorms national Park. The owner is a real gentleman and the tavern he runs has amazing steak pies. Would stay again "

"Think some of the past negativity is due to food service when the hotel was reopening under a new company/management. So far our stay has been great nice polite staff, lovely rooms, a good health spa, yes there's a couple of tiny tiles missing in the pool, the sauna and steam room are great. So far can't fault them I'd gove them 5/5."

"We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and in a good quiet location.We used the walking leaflets and books for inspiration. There is a local supermarket close by in Blairgowrie and good local walks. The welcome folder gives recommendations for places to eat. We all had a delicious meal at the Old Cross Inn, Rattray,...

"We’ve just had a lovely weekend at the Old Stables. We really enjoyed the large, open plan kitchen/living/dining area, the hot tub and sauna and the very impressive cinema room. The house was very clean and Hazel was a great host, providing all the details we needed and very responsive to messages. Alyth is a nice wee village and the whole area is absolutely gorgeous. We had a terrific walk in the Den of Alyth and a glorious day at Glamis Castle which is very close by. "
