"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...

"Very pleased with property. Centrally located. Only negative was extremely heavy doors that did not stay open and banged shut quite forcefully. I have a young son and we were constantly anxious of fingers getting caught. Otherwise an excellent stay"

"We stayed here for my sisters 50th and loved every minute of it. The view from the garden was out of this world, it made the break. The cottage was cosy and whilst some of the decor wasn’t perfect the description was accurate and as described. We will be back, the view was outstanding and lovely wee pubs in walking distance too.
