"We had 25 of us from all age groups staying there for a wedding that was nearby. This property had everything that we needed. We were able to cook large meals in the spacious kitchen. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids busy. Every room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. We will definitely be looking at this property again for future gatherings."

"Such an amazing place. Ideal getaway into the mountains while also being within 30 mins of food/entertainment. Glad these places are still intact after the hurricane. It’s on a one room cabin, but has everything you need. Fire pit along the quiet rolling river couldn’t of been better!"

"I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again "

"Beautiful location and very well equipped The adults enjoyed comfortable bedrooms and the kids had a blast sleeping in the theatre room. We all enjoyed fishing, hiking and boating right off the property. Susan, , the manager, was gracious & available for any questions or concerns. "So many things to mention…fishing and playing in the river, relaxing on the porch, roasting marshmallows by the fire, enjoying the privacy and seclusion of the property (we literally saw no other people while we were there), fully stocked kitchen, linens provided. "My boyfriend and I did a brief staycation here and absolutely loved it! It is pet friendly so we were able to bring the dogs and enjoy the lake. It’s also close to a few hiking trails around the lake which was perfect for us. The porch seating options were perfect for relaxing or working from home while checking out the view. Hosts were very communicative as we were getting ready for our trip. "

"The home is beautiful! The creek was absolutely amazing! Water rafts available to float down the river and explore. Plenty of lawn chairs provided! Check in was a breeze. Essentials available in kitchen. Bring your own bottled water to drink, cook with, use for ice and coffee. The water is safe but has a well water smell. Susan, the property manager, is SO fun! Visit Hidden Gems . It's close enough to walk to. It’s definitely hidden so watch for signs. You will park on the side of the road. "

"I traveled to Statesville for work to go to a weeklong class. I wanted to do something different instead of a hotel. This apartment was HUGE, very spacious, clean, smelled amazing, and very well decorated. Very well designed from a magazine. It's above a bookstore in an old building so there is exposed brick, ducts, and ceiling beams. The flooring is real wood through out. "Great place to stay. Place was clean. Definitely off the beaten path but well worth it if you are wanting to get away. Loved being on the creek and having a fire in the pit outside every night. Hot Tub was nice to get in after hiking all day. If i had to critique one thing. I would say to update your information on dog fee, and trash. We were a little confused about what we read online vs what was at the cabin. Great time. Will return next year."
