Our recent stay at this property was absolutely wonderful! The house was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The owner, Vicky, was an amazing host—super nice and incredibly friendly. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. We truly appreciate her thoughtfulness and hospitality. We would highly recommend this property to anyone and hope to visit again in the future!

Home away from home

Staying at Montanya is the perfect family getaway. The kitchen has everything you need, the house is spacious for our family of 5 and the bedrooms are cosy and warm. Equipped with all the creature comforts of home, you won’t be disappointed. We have stayed multiple times for our annual ski trip and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful place

Such a pleasure to stay at Montanya. Location and view are amazing. Wonderful family cycling nearby, cafes and stores. Excellent quality items, toys and games and a really well stocked kitchen. Vicky is a great host.

Excellent base for a skiing weekend

Montanya is great for a weekend on the slopes. Took the bus to Falls was really convenient. House is really well equipped, clean and comfortable. We had a lovely time.

Just Beautiful

We loved our stay. Montanya is so well appointed with some beautiful treats generously provided. Thank you! The area is beautiful and the pool was great for an early summer swim. Wish we could stay even longer. We’ll definitely be booking again with wonderful host Vicky. So much more to explore in the area.

Snow Getaway

Such a great property, it was absolutely perfect for our little group. Had everything we needed and then some. Great location if you’re going to be day tripping up to Falls Creek and has an awesome view as a bonus. Communication with the host was quick and easy and made the booking process and stay a breeze! 10/10

A great, cozy mountain getaway

Probably the most comfortable, well stocked holiday house we have stayed in. Perfect for us and two young kids for our yearly ski trip. And the views are amazing. Perfect house to relax and cook in after a day at the slopes. The host is wonderful. We are looking to book again next year. Highly recommend

Home away from Home

Beautiful gem in Tawonga with amazing views. The property had everything and more. From well stocked pantry to crockery, cutlery and everything you would want. The amount of different teas and coffees and wonderful collection of CD, DVD, Books and games.It made our stay memorable. Thank you Vicky for everything!!

I was looking for a place for myself & my teenage daughters to stay for a long weekend away. This was the perfect getaway! Communication was spot on with great recommendations for local food spots. The property was awesome & literally stocked for every occasion. We are already planning our next trip! Simply fabulous :)

Home away from home.

Very lovely home, beautiful area. Generous and conscientious hosts. No hot tub, as was stated on the VRBO site, owner did acknowledge this when asked in advance about it, but it should be corrected on the site. Some pictures of the site are quite old.

Beautifully Cosy and comfortable

Thank you Vicky for hosting us at your property and looking after every little detail so well! The house was beautifully clean, stocked with absolutely every item imaginable and super warm and cosy in the middle of winter. It was the perfect base to go skiing at Falls Creek from. The kids also loved the selection of games. It was also wonderful to have such an attentive host who communicated so well before, after and during our stay. We're looking forward to returning again!

Our stay with Montanya

Beautiful surroundings accompanied with wonderful accommodation. House was easy to access, little bit tricky with a larger vehicle pulling into the driveway, but very manageable. The house was just perfect for the four of us, a home away from home. Clean amenities, plenty of board games, amazing swimming pool, wonderful set up on the upper deck. The kitchen was set up so well we hardly needed to bring anything. Overall a perfect family getaway destination with plenty to do in the area for those who don’t want to blow their budget. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay at Montanya

We had such an enjoyable stay at this property. It suited our needs perfectly, being large enough for the family and nicely located not too far from Falls creek, so we could drive up each day. It was beautifully presented, particularly the kitchen/appliances and the bathrooms, everything was of high quality and worked well. The communication from Vicky the host was perfect, very helpful and she responded immediately whenever we had any questions. Can definitely recommend, particularly for families where older kids would love their own self-contained space in the pool house, separate from the main house. If we stay in this area again, we will definitely choose Montanya again.

The perfect home away from home.

From the moment we arrived, our whole group were making comments about how comfortable and homely this property felt. The house was absolutely stocked with everything you could ever need on a fun holiday, from cooking equipment, to games, to every great movie made, to ample linen, to beautiful location. And to top it all off, Vicky was excellent with communication. She was friendly and willing to help wherever she could. I will absolutely be staying here again. You won’t be disappointed.

Zen moment

Photos don't do justice to this property, you have to just experience it all..... An amazing experience right from the very start. Great communication. Received a call from Vicky the day I booked the property and she covered everything from what to expect at the property to tips on sightseeing and eateries. The house for sensational, very relaxing and fully equipped. One of the best properties we stayed at. Great views, very well equipped kitchen, loved the pool house, ideal for big families like ours especially when you travel with teens 😀. We also appreciated the late checkout, gave us a chance to sleep in and enjoy my coffee with the most stunning views. Vicky and Jeff thanks once again for everything. My husband and I really needed a relaxing break with our 4 kids and you sure exceeded all our expectations. Cheers, The Francis Family.
