"This is a lovely location. It’s quiet, across from Lake Huron, you can walk on the side of the road, however driving to the public lake access is not far. Tiffany is a very gracious and kind host. We will definitely stay there again when over that way."

"We had a pleasant experience. The only problem was when we moved a fire pit closer to our cabin because the are was vacant (5 fire pits only 8 cabins, which needs to be addressed). The man who checks on the property came over and stated he drove by to talk to us earlier, but we were not at the cabin, which (a) seems like stalking and (b) his tone and the way he was leering at my daughter in law were not appreciated. If we stay next year my son and I may just kick his ass....we were tempted to...

"The location in a rural setting on the lake was a perfect getaway! You can tell love is being put into making this a comfortable and modernized getaway. We appreciated that it was stocked better than any hotel but it was warm and cozy and comfortable. It was a wonderful spot to be able to drive to lots of beautiful Michigan gems too. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at the sweet house. Beds are comfy and 2 bathrooms when you have 2 teenage girls is a must!!! Minute walk to the beach which was perfect. So many shells to collect! House had everything we needed and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...

"This is our 4th AuGres rental and by far our family’s favorite! Can’t say enough about the very clean and comfortable accommodations! The nautical decor was perfect with nice big beds with comfy bedding and towels! Kitchen fully equipped with everything you’d need! I had no reservations about my 10 month old grandson crawling around! The new back patio was totally awesome with lots of chairs and lounges! We enjoyed the big round picnic table for snacking and playing card games! Lots of beach...
