  • Situado en Islamorada, la capital de la pesca del mundo, esta casa está escondido en un barrio tranquilo en el lado de la bahía. El patio consta de una playa privada, piscina de costumbre barbacoa, y un largo muelle con magníficas vistas de la bahía de Florida. Hay un amplio espacio y la profundidad de atracar varias embarcaciones en caso de tener cualquier empresa. Usted experimentará hermosas puestas de sol justo fuera de la final del muelle con una agradable brisa fresca del océano. Durante el día tomar una caña y carrete y echar en una línea justo en el muelle, o saltar y agarrar una langosta enclavado en las rocas de abajo.
    Si el surf es demasiado para que usted resuelva la casa está a sólo minutos del famoso Tiki Bar. Si quieres ir a salto de más calidad en el barco o en coche y la cabeza a la milla 88, a media milla de distancia. Restaurantes y bares fantásticos abundan, para no defraudar.
    La casa está equipada con Internet de alta velocidad de acceso en toda la casa, junto con cable y televisión de alta definición para que usted no tiene que preocuparse por perder su equipo favorito.
    Todos los baños han sido renovados recientemente con baldosas de mármol y accesorios nuevos frescos. El dormitorio principal está amueblado con una cama king size y tiene un gran paseo en el armario y un baño principal con un tocador separado. La habitación de arriba se compone de dos camas individuales.
    En la sala de estar y sala de estar hay un montón de sofás por si acaso los dormitorios se ponen demasiado estrecho. A las afueras de la sala de estar y comedor hay una gran malla en porche para relajarse y leer. Hay una bonita terraza justo fuera de la malla en porche que recorre el largo de la casa para la captura de algunos rayos.
    En la planta baja se encuentra una suite privada con una cama matrimonial y un futón completo (colchón cómodo primavera) junto con su propio cuarto de baño privado. A las afueras de la suite es un hoyo de barbacoa personalizado listo para asar a la parrilla hasta su pesca del día.

Perfect location, great updates, we stayed with the family and grandparents for a week and a half and had a blast. Couldn’t have asked for a better home base for some disconnecting from reality. Great mix of indoor and outdoor spaces and sunsets that were to die for.

EVERYTHING about the property was PERFECT!! Our party of 8 had plenty of room. Everything in the home you would ever need. Kitchen stocked and home was spotless. Kids paddle boarded right off the beach into the waters. Caught keeper mangrove snapper off the dock at night. Great location and close to all you would ever need. The house and Grant were amazing. We'll definitely be back.

Wow, what a great property! Very clean, well stocked, waterfront dream home. Spacious sitting areas inside and out, wonderful dock for fishing, snorkeling, or boating. Caught keeper mangrove snapper from the dock and kayaked every day. Amazing vacation.

Back for more

This was our 2nd time staying at the property and we are planning on coming back again next year. The property is perfect for families with kids as you can swim and snorkel right off the back yard.

Great place with amazing views

We enjoyed the house and it's location! Sunsets were to die for! The set up outside was amazing. The only thing that would have made it a 10/10 would have been if our dog could have been with us but otherwise this was a great place to stay!

Another Great Stay

We came for the third year in a row and had another week of great memories enabled by a home that has so much to offer in a location that provides some of the best sunsets you will ever see. Thanks Grant for offering you house as a VRBO - we have memories that will last a lifetime!

A wonderful house

This was a family trip, with grandparents, parents, and two teenagers. The house was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. We rented a boat and loved spending time on the water and relaxing on the dock. The teens especially liked the paddle boards. The house is nicely furnished and ideally located.

Islamorada Retreat

This was our second family Thanksgiving at this property. It is an ideal place to relax, recreate, enjoy the beauty of the Keys, and to enjoy the many opportunities available on the Keys such as snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, swimming with the dolphins, visiting Key West to name a few. Grant is a very responsive host.

Perfect Property

This place was just like all the other reviewers stated. Beautiful views, quiet location. The downstairs ‘in-law’ apartment was not connected to the main house, this wasn’t a problem for us but it may be an issue for families with small kids.

Great house and location!

We didn’t leave the house very much. The outdoor kitchen area is amazing! The fishing is good off the dock, there’s a friendly family of manatees that come around, crabs, lobsters etc. My husband caught a string ray…he had a fight to get him in.

Yes you will like it, a lot

Great house, grounds & dock for us 3 guys and our rented boat. The pictures are good but it is even nicer than that. Very handy location too. Private but everything within 5 minutes. We had a little problem with the A/C and Grant did everything humanly possible to make it right.

Great place

This is a great property for a family with older children, or two or three couples. Really nice property with private beach. The dock is a fun place to hang out but the outdoor bar area is even better with shade from the sun and it has a large screen tv with a fridge for all your beverages. AC works great and the kitchen was well stocked. Outdoor grill worked great. When we got there the beach had a lot of sea vegetation washed up and the owner had someone clean it up and bring extra beach towels right away. Also two SUP boards that we used. We would stay there again!

Amazing Oceanfront Vacation

Pictures don’t do this place justice! We absolutely loved the outdoor spaces and only went inside to sleep and shower…but even showers were sometimes outside in the great outdoor shower! The kids loved snorkeling, fishing, and exploring the beach. We rented kayaks on our last day and that was a hit, too. The views and privacy are phenomenal and the outdoor kitchen/tv area was our absolute favorite. We saw nurse sharks, sting rays, harmless jellyfish, parrotfish, crabs, angelfish, and so much more!! The only issue we had was that the washing machine didn’t work. I reached out to the property manager multiple times through text and VRBO messaging and never heard back. It is rare to not hear a peep from a manager, so I’m not sure the phone number is accurate. It may just need to be updated but our issue wasn’t a major one, so no worries. The house has everything you could possibly need with plenty of room for large families. My in laws enjoyed the downstairs suite that walks right out to the dock and beach area. It is separate from the main house which worked fine for us but could be helpful to know for families. We can’t recommend this house enough and will definitely stay there again if we are back in the Tavenier/Islamorada area!

Excellent choice for a relaxing getaway

Our family of 4 couldn't have been more satisfied. There was room for at least 4 more people, 40 if you wanted to host a party. The house is better than the description. The appliances are new, countertops are granite, showers are amazing, A/C works very well (smart thermostat) and the home is fully stocked with brand name everything from toilet paper to laundry detergent to spices. There is a charcoal grill and a 3 burner Weber gas grill. When we arrived there was a partial tank of propane and an empty one. We grilled several times and there was still propane in the original tank. We replaced the empty one so the next group to enjoy this property wouldn't have to worry about propane. The owners have placed rocks and large diameter PVC under the end of the dock which provides a great place for lobsters, crabs, and fish to live. A night light provides a true aquarium experience. Even during the day while snorkeling there is an abundance of marine life to see. There are 2 sups and an inflatable kayak and several fishing poles available. The outdoor lighting at night is awesome and the sunset views from the dock are picture perfect. A crew of 3 came thru Monday morning to blow the leaves off the astro turf and rake the beach area. The neighborhood is quiet and the walkers we encountered were friendly. This is truely a wonderful place to stay while exploring the Keys. Thank you Grant!
