After a day on the lake or exploring the scenic biking trails, indulge in the luxury of the spa overlooking Acacia Bay. Complete the experience with BBQ alfresco dining, offering year-round enjoyment, along with spectacular views Acacia Retreat will beckon you to return time and time again.

The Space:
Whether you prefer to fire up the BBQ or relax on the deck while taking in the views or relaxing in the spa you will love this home.
Just a short few minutes' walk to the lake and local restaurant.
Acacia Retreat allows guest to have the comfort of home with the 4 bedrooms available.
Note: Maximum of 6 adults.
Boasting a Queen bed in the Master.
Room 2 offers a double bed.
Rooms 3 Has a set of children's single bunks. (Top bunk is not suitable for adults.)
Room 4 has a King single along with a trundler bed. The retreats bedding configuration allows two families to travel together or the extended family to join the holiday experience.
Two Bathrooms for convenience, both with a shower toilet and Vanity.
A porta-cot is available by request.

Complimentary Tea and coffee
We use hire serviced linen to provide our guests high quality linen. All beds are made up with a towel and face cloth provided for each guest.
This amazing home is suitable for families on a shopping, fishing, skiing or sightseeing trip or just for the perfect getaway.

The Neighborhood:
This a family friendly quiet area with a short walk to the lake, boat ramp, dairy and The Bay Bar & Brasserie, local walks/biking paths along the waterfront or to the Taupō township, or you can get to the Taupō town Centre within a short drive..

Other Things to Note:
Rotorua is only one hours drive and Hawkes Bay within 1.5 hours drive for a day of sightseeing and for the active traveller the Ski field and Tongariro crossing is an 1.5 hours drive. The Glowworm Caves are also 2 hours drive and Hobbiton 1.5 hours making Taupo the heart of the North Island and the perfect place to stay and explore from.

Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests their privacy but Kerry is available by phone or text to answer any questions and we are only ever 10-15 minutes drive away if needed in an emergency.

We (two families with young children) had a lovely few days at the Bach. The kids loved the spa pool and it was a safe garden to run around in. Also within easy walking distance of a playground. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had everything we needed for cooking. We all enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. Good communication with the hosts too. Would recommend this Bach

Greta place to stay

Fabulous holiday home in Acacia Bay which easily accomodated 5 adults and a child. House was spotless with well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, good heating (heatpump and wood burner) and lovely view of the Lake. Would definitely recommend.

Great stay, lovely view in Acacia Bay

Lovely and tidy. Everything we expected and very responise host. We enjoyed the deck with the view and there is a dairy and cafe just nearby if you dont want to do the short drive to the main shops.
