Jardins Tarbin

Our visit was a bit marred by the lack of staff. The Monday breakfast was staffed by only ONE chef and no attendants for coffee/refilling empty trays of eggs/cream cheese, etc. The front desk person was frantic trying to help out and did a good job. Coffee was cold. Having stayed 3 previous times, I know how nice the breakfast can be. Tuesday morning was a bit better, but still understaffed. Also, the front desk people seemed overwhelmed with the "new system" from the new owners. The front entrance steps are badly in need of repair, an accident waiting to happen. We wanted to dine at Epoch, but the menu did not speak to us and prices seemed a bit high ....more choices would have been nice. By no means was our stay negatively impacted and look forward to seeing what the new owners have up their sleeve. I hope it is not higher room prices as we feel it is an excellent mid-week value for the area. It would be nice to have the interior dining room used as a resturant. Good luck.
