"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. "A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays.
Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at this holiday apartment. The property was comfortable and spacious .Everything we needed was available, which made our stay easy and relaxing.The location was great and the surroundings were peaceful ."

"Needed a relaxing home base for exploring the Northland area and Abri Apartments was a great choice. Our hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was extremely clean and updated. Nice kitchen. Spectacular views from the living room and bedroom. Comfortable lazyboy type sofas. Commercial quality laundry and dryer which dried quickly. Great value. Would return. Highly recommend"
